Yuen Long Public Secondary School
Yuen Long Public Secondary School is a school located in Yuen Long. In 1936, community members of Yuen Long felt that all primary school pupils in the district could not continue with secondary schooling. Seeing this, local community leaders initiated the establishment of a secondary school for the local students which led to fund-raising campaigns over a ten-year period. In 1946, the school was the first secondary school established by the Government in the New Territories. The school moved into the campus at Au Tau in 1949 and moved again in 1989 to the present modern campus in Town Park Road South, Yuen Long. The School Improvement Programme, scheduled for expansion with a total floor area of 1030 square metres, was completed in September 2003. The new annex was officially opened on 30 October 2003. Yuen Long District
Yuen Long District (formerly romanised as Un Long) is one of the districts of Hong Kong. Located in the northwest of the New Territories, it had a population of 662,000 in 2021 Geography Yuen Long District contains the largest alluvial plain in Hong Kong, the Yuen Long-Kam Tin plain. With an area of 144 km2, the district covers many traditional villages including Ping Shan Heung, Ha Tsuen Heung, Kam Tin Heung, Fung Kat Heung, Pat Heung, San Tin Heung and Shap Pat Heung, as well as Yuen Long Town and Tin Shui Wai. Yuen Long is a town in the western New Territories, Hong Kong. Yuen Long Park
Yuen Long Park, formerly called Yuen Long Town Park, is located in Yuen Long, New Territories, Hong Kong. It is managed by Leisure and Cultural Services Department. History The park was a natural woodland at Shui Ngau Ling, Yuen Long. The existing geographical pattern and trees was preserved as much as possible. The park was officially opened by Cheung Yan-lung, chairman of the Regional Council to the public on 26 October 1991. The park was formerly called Yuen Long Town Park. It occupies 7.5 hectares. The Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (), with a history dating back to 1870, is the oldest and largest charitable organisation in Hong Kong.
