Ytterhogdal () is a urban areas of Sweden, locality situated in Härjedalen Municipality, Jämtland County, Sweden with 534 inhabitants in 2010. Being located in the province of Hälsingland, the village has connections to three provinces due to the municipality and county having namesake provinces outside of Ytterhogdal. European route E45 passes the village The village is located close to Sweden's geographical midpoint. Ytterhogdal Church (''Ytterhogdals kyrka'') is in the Diocese of Härnösand. The church building was built in the years 1799-1809 by the builder Johan Christian Loëll from Gävle. It was built in stone with a tower to the east. Härjedalen Municipality (, , no, Herjedalen kommune) is a municipality in Jämtland County in northern Sweden. Its seat is located in Sveg. The municipality roughly, but not exactly, corresponds with the traditional province Härjedalen. The municipality was created in 1974 and is one of two in Sweden with the name of a province (Gotland Municipality is the other). It consists of nine original local government entities (as of 1863). Hälsingland (), sometimes referred to as Helsingia in English, is a historical province or ''landskap'' in central Sweden. It borders Gästrikland, Dalarna, Härjedalen, Medelpad and the Gulf of Bothnia. It is part of the land of Norrland. The Köppen climate classification is one of the most widely used climate classification systems. It was first published by German-Russian climatologist Wladimir Köppen (1846–1940) in 1884, with several later modifications by Köppen, notably in 1918 and 1936. Gävle
Gävle () is a city in Sweden, the seat of Gävle Municipality and the capital of Gävleborg County. It had 77,586 inhabitants in 2020, which makes it the 13th most populated city in Sweden. It is the oldest city in the historical Norrland (Sweden's Northern Lands), having received its charter in 1446 from Christopher of Bavaria. However, Gävle is far nearer to the greater Stockholm region than it is to most other major settlements in Norrland and has a much milder climate than associated with said region. An urban area or () in Sweden has a minimum of 200 inhabitants and may be a city, town or larger village. It is a purely statistical concept, not defined by any municipal or county boundaries.
