The municipalities of Sweden ( sv, Sveriges kommuner) are its lower-level local government entities. There are 290 municipalities which are responsible for a large proportion of local services, including schools, emergency services and physical planning. Tomelilla Municipality
Tomelilla Municipality (''Tomelilla kommun'') is a municipality in Skåne County in southern Sweden. Its seat is located in the town Tomelilla. The municipality was formed through a series of amalgamations taking place in 1952, 1969 and 1971. The number of pre-1952 units making up the present municipality is twenty. Geography Tomelilla Municipality is located in the south-eastern plains of Scania known as Österlen, which is an area notable for its beauty, and thus popular among painters as well as covered with summer cottages, country mansions, and so on. Sjöbo Municipality (''Sjöbo kommun'') is a municipality in Skåne County in southern Sweden. Its seat is located in the town Sjöbo. The present municipality was created in 1974 when the former market town (''köping'') ''Sjöbo'' was amalgamated with the surrounding rural municipalities. There are fifteen original entities within today's municipality. Geography The town of Sjöbo has flat terrain, with many small houses and three long straight streets stretching through it, leading to larger roads. The northwestern part of the municipality includes the main part of Vombsjön, the largest lake of southern Scania and notable for being the water source of Malmö. Świnoujście (; german: Swinemünde ; nds, Swienemünn; all three meaning "Świna ivermouth"; csb, Swina) is a city and seaport on the Baltic Sea and Szczecin Lagoon, located in the extreme north-west of Poland.
