Youth Development Administration
The Youth Development Administration (YDA; ;Bopomofo :ㄋㄧㄢˊ ㄈㄚ ㄓㄢˇ ㄕㄨˇ) is a branch of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of China (Taiwan) with a responsibility for youth affairs. History It was established on 28 January 1966 as the National Youth Commission (NYC; ) under the Executive Yuan until 1 January 2013 when it was put under the administration of the Ministry of Education as a result of the reorganization of the Executive Yuan and renamed to Youth Development Administration. Taipei City
Taipei (), officially Taipei City, is the Capital city, capital and a Special municipality (Taiwan), special municipality of the Taiwan, Republic of China (Taiwan). Located in Regions of Taiwan, Northern Taiwan, Taipei City is an enclave of the municipality of New Taipei City that sits about southwest of the northern port city of Keelung. Most of the city rests on the Taipei Basin, an ancient lakebed. Bopomofo
Bopomofo (), or Mandarin Phonetic Symbols, also named Zhuyin (), is a Chinese transliteration system for Mandarin Chinese and other related languages and dialects. More commonly used in Taiwanese Mandarin, it may also be used to transcribe other varieties of Chinese, particularly other varieties of Mandarin Chinese dialects, as well as Taiwanese Hokkien. Consisting of 37 characters and five tone marks, it transcribes all possible sounds in Mandarin. Bopomofo was first introduced in China by the Republican government in the 1910s and was used alongside the Wade–Giles system for romanization purposes, which used a modified Latin alphabet. Today, Bopomofo is now more common in Taiwan than on the Chinese mainland, and is after Hanyu Pinyin used as a secondary electronic input method for writing Mandarin Chinese in Taiwan as well as in dictionaries or other non-official documents. Executive Yuan
The Executive Yuan () is the executive branch of the government of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Its leader is the Premier, who is appointed by the President of the Republic of China, and requires confirmation by the Legislative Yuan. Under the amended constitution, the head of the Executive Yuan is the Premier who is positioned as the head of government and has the power to appoint members to serve in the cabinet, while the ROC President is the head of state under the semi-presidential system, who can appoint the Premier and nominate the members of the cabinet. The Premier may be removed by a vote of no-confidence by a majority of the Legislative Yuan, after which the President may either remove the Premier or dissolve the Legislative Yuan and initiate a new election for legislators. NTU Hospital Station
National Taiwan University Hospital () is a metro station in Taipei, Taiwan served by Taipei Metro. Station overview The station is a two-level, underground station with an island platform. It has four exits, two of which are equipped with elevators. It is named for the nearby National Taiwan University Hospital. The station has exits to National Taiwan University Hospital, National Taiwan Museum and 228 Peace Memorial Park. Taipei Metro
Taipei Mass Rapid Transit (MRT), branded as Metro Taipei, is a rapid transit system serving the areas of Taipei and New Taipei City, New Taipei in Taiwan, operated by the State-owned enterprise, government-owned Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation, which also operates the Maokong Gondola. Taipei Metro was the first metro system ever built in Taiwan. The initial network was approved for construction in 1986 and work began two years later.
