Young Greens Of Norway
Young Greens of Norway ( nb, Grønn Ungdom, nn, Grøn Ungdom, sme, Ruoná Nuorat, or GU) is the youth league of the Green Party (Norway), Norwegian Green Party. The organization was founded in 1996, and its current spokespeople (2023) are Tobias Stokkeland (since 2021) and Margit Martinsen (since 2022). The Young Greens works to promote green ideology, its mother party's political program, and youths' engagement in politics. The co-spokespersons of Young Greens of Norway are Anna Serafima Svendsen Kvam from Oslo and Ola Eian from Osen i Sør-Trøndelag. Young Greens of Norway has 780 (2022) members and 19 local groups, one in each county. Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. Green politics, or ecopolitics, is a political ideology that aims to foster an ecologically sustainable society often, but not always, rooted in environmentalism, nonviolence, social justice and grassroots democracy. Global Young Greens
Global Young Greens (GYG) is an emerging global organisation supporting and consolidating the efforts of young people working towards social justice, ecological sustainability, grassroots democracy and peace. The Federation of Young European Greens, often referred to as FYEG ( ), is an umbrella organisation that gathers young green movements and organisations across Europe with 40,000 members. Natur og Ungdom (NU) which translates Nature and Youth, also known in English as Young Friends of the Earth Norway, is a Norwegian youth environment protecting organisation. It is the only environmentalist youth organisation in Norway. 7,000 members, in 80 local groups, work on environmental issues all throughout the country.
