Young Euro Classic
Young Euro Classic is an international music festival for youth orchestras. Established in Berlin, Germany in 2000, it is one of the world's most important international platforms for young musicians in the Western classical music tradition. Every summer, orchestras from all over the world perform at the Konzerthaus Berlin. The festival is an associated member organization of the European Federation of National Youth Orchestras. The Romanian Youth Orchestra ( ro, Orchestra Română de Tineret) is the national youth orchestra of Romania. National Youth Orchestra Of China
The National Youth Orchestra of China (NYO-China, zh, 中华青少年交响乐团) is a full symphony youth orchestra composed of approximately 100 Chinese musicians aged 14 to 21 years old. Students from all over China audition to participate in a two-week training residency before performing alongside a renowned soloist and conductor in premier venues throughout the world. The program is provided at no cost to students; all expenses, including travel, housing, and meals, are covered by the organization's supporters. NYO-China was founded in late 2015 with its first residency and concert tour, featuring Yuja Wang and Olga Kern, taking place in July 2017. Its subsequent seasons included a reduced-scale Chamber Series in 2018 and a Europe Tour in 2019 with Garrick Ohlsson. European Union Youth Orchestra
The European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO) is a youth orchestra with members drawn from the 27 members states of the European Union. Since its foundation in 1976, it has connected music colleges and the professional music world for generations of European musicians. EUYO is considered one of the best youth orchestras in the world, achieving "extraordinarily high standards" and playing at all major European festivals, including the Proms, the Salzburg Festival, and Young Euro Classic. EUYO is an associated member of the European Federation of National Youth Orchestras and is supported by the Creative Europe programme. National Youth Orchestra Of Great Britain
The National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain (NYO-GB) is the national youth orchestra of the United Kingdom, consisting of 164 members of ages 13 to 19 years. Their mission is to "give thrilling experiences of orchestral music to teenage musicians and audiences who need them most." Auditions take place in the autumn each year at various locations in the country. The minimum standard needed to audition is ABRSM / Trinity Guildhall / London College of Music Grade 8 Distinction, though it is not necessary to have taken any examinations. Portuguese Youth Orchestra
The Portuguese Chamber Orchestra (OCP) was founded on July 5, 2007, and its debut took place on September 13, 2007, with the opening concert of the 2007/2008 season at the Grand Auditorium of Centro Cultural de Belém, in Lisbon. The programme included the Overture to ''Der Schauspieldirektor'' by Mozart, the Symphony No. 6 by Schubert, and the Ballet suite ''Pulcinella'' by Stravinsky. The head office of OCP is in Oeiras, Portugal. History The artistic direction is assured by Pedro Carneiro, who leads this latest and most virtuous generation of instrumentalists.
