Young Communists (in Catalan: ''Joves Comunistes'') is the youth wing of PSUC viu in Catalonia, Spain. It was initially known as ''Joves Comunistes del PSUC viu''. JC publishes ''Veu Rebel''. JC is a federated organisation to the Communist Youth Union of Spain(UJCE) since April 2006 The highest organ of JC is the Congress. The Congress elects a Central Committee that leads the organization between congresses. Out of the Central Committee a Standing Committee is elected, which runs the day-to-day affairs of the organization. The present general secretary of JC is Jorge Torres. PSUC Viu
The Living Unified Socialist Party of Catalonia ( ca, PSUC viu, lit="Living PSUC") is a political party in Catalonia, Spain. PSUC viu emerged from factional fighting within the Unified Socialist Party of Catalonia (PSUC) in the mid-1990s. Since 1936, PSUC has been the Catalan referent of the Communist Party of Spain (PCE). PSUC and PCE exist as parallel parties, and PCE does not organize any branch of its own in Catalonia. History In the 1980s, PCE and PSUC developed in different ways. Just as PCE took part in setting up the United Left (IU) coalition, PSUC had launched the coalition Initiative for Catalonia (IC). But whereas PCE maintained its character as an independent party, PSUC gradually became a dormant structure within IC. Communist Youth Union Of Spain
The Communist Youth Union of Spain ( es, Unión de Juventudes Comunistas de España, UJCE; also simply the Communist Youth) is the youth organisation of the Communist Party of Spain (PCE). The UJCE merged with the Federation of the Socialist Youth of Spain (FJS) to form the Juventudes Socialistas Unificadas (JSU) in 1936, following the policy lines friendly to the concept of popular front established in the 7th World Congress of the Comintern. It was formally reconstituted under the UJCE name in 1961. As the PCE, the UJCE is a founding member of United Left. UJCE is a member of the World Federation of Democratic Youth. Collectives of Young Communists – Communist Youth (''Col·lectius de Joves Comunistes - Joventut Comunista''), more known simply as "CJC" or "Joventut Comunista", is the youth wing of the Party of the Communists of Catalonia (''Partit dels i les Comunistes de Catalunya''), the main communist party in Catalonia (Spain). It is the largest Catalan communist youth organization created as a result of the PCC foundation after the struggle within former PSUC in 1982. It continues the historical line of the Communist Youth of Catalonia (''Joventut Comunista de Catalunya'', JCC). CJC-Joventut Comunista has its own publication, ''Revolució'', and holds a festival every year called ''Festa Revolució''.
