Yong Soo Park
Yong-soo Park (born 1981) is a South Korean taekwondo practitioner and heavyweight kickboxer who has fought professionally in K-1. His most notable opponents include Kaoklai Kaennorsing, Musashi, and Jerome Le Banner. Career In December 2012, Park signed with the Glory promotion. He was scheduled to fight Singh Jaideep at '' Glory 5: London'' on March 23, 2013 in London, England but was replaced by Daniel Sam. Park made his Glory debut at Glory 20: Dubai on April 3, 2015, facing Chi Lewis-Parry. He was knocked out just 25 seconds into the first round. ''K-1 World Grand Prix 2008 in Seoul Final 16'' was a martial arts event held by the K-1 on Saturday September 27, 2008 at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul, Korea. It was the Final Elimination tournament for top sixteen fighters. The winners qualified for the K-1 World GP 2008 Final held on December 6, 2008 at Yokohama Arena, Japan. The eight finalists from K-1 World GP 2007 Final were automatically qualified, then four World GP 2008 tournament winners in Amsterdam, Fukuoka, Taipei and Hawaii. The last four spots were selected by fan voting. Makoto Uehara
Makoto Uehara ( ja, 上原 誠; born November 14, 1984) is a Japanese Shidokan Karateka and heavyweight kickboxer competing in K-1. He is the former RISE Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight champion. Biography and career He faced Hiromi Amada at the ''K-1 World Grand Prix 2012 in Tokyo Final 16'' on October 14, 2012 and won via unanimous decision. K-1 is a professional kickboxing promotion established in 1993, well known worldwide mainly for its heavyweight division fights and Grand Prix tournaments. In January 2012, K-1 Global Holdings Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong, acquired the rights to K-1, and is the current organizer of K-1 events worldwide.
