Yokthai Sithoar
Yokthai Sithoar ( th, หยกไทย ศิษย์ อ., born December 25, 1974) is a retired Thai professional boxer who held the WBA super flyweight (115 lb) world champion in the late 90s. He is also retired Muay Thai kickboxer and mixed martial artist (MMA). Biography and career He was born in Chonburi province, eastern Thailand, along his brother Tappaya Sit-Or and his nepehew Rambaa Somdet he trained in Muay Thai since childhood. They later became prominent and successful Muay Thai kickboxers. Yokthai, became a famous Muay Thai fighter under Songchai Rattanasuban's stable. Known for the power of his punches, he often defeated his opponenets by knock out. He received the nickname ''"ไอ้หมัดไซโคลนนรก"'' (''Ai-Mud-Cyclone-Na-Rok''; lit: "Fist of the Hell Cyclone") from Muay Thai fans. Because his fists were effective. Songchai Rattanasuban ( th, ทรงชัย รัตนสุบรรณ; born: March 5, 1946 in Chachoengsao province) is a famous Thai Muay Thai and professional boxing promoter. He is well known for being a promoter of the fight titled "Suek Onesongchai" (ศึกวันทรงชัย; lit: "Songchai Day Battle") of Lumpinee Stadium especially in the 80's and 90's that have been recognized as the golden era of Muay Thai. Unanimous Decision
A unanimous decision (UD) is a winning criterion in several full-contact combat sports, such as boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, mixed martial arts and other sports involving striking and submission in which all three judges agree on which fighter won the match. In boxing, each of the three judges keep score (round by round) of which fighter they feel is winning (and losing). This only includes landed blows to the head or the body. In MMA, judges look for different criteria such as kicks, take downs, punches, knees, elbows, cage control, submission attempts and aggression. A decision is not required to be unanimous for a boxer or mixed martial artist to be given a victory. In modern era of Olympic boxing, UD is utilized more often than other outcomes including stoppages. Unanimous decision should not be confused with a majority decision or split decision. Aquiles Guzmán
Aquiles José Guzmán Matute. (born April 13, 1965) is a former Venezuelan professional boxer. He is a former World Boxing Association (WBA) flyweight (112 lb) champion. Professional career Guzmán turned professional in 1985. His second opponent as a professional boxer, Gregorio Padrino, died two days after their bout as a consequence of the blows received in it. Guzman continued on and captured the WBA flyweight title in 1992 with an upset decision win over Yong-Kang Kim. He lost the belt in his first defense to David Grimán by decision (scoring of judges) in 1994. He later challenged Saen Sor Ploenchit, Alimi Goitia, and Yokthai Sithoar for their respective belts but lost each fight.
