Hugo Del Carril
Pierre Bruno Hugo Fontana, otherwise known as Hugo del Carril (30 November 1912 – 13 August 1989 in Buenos Aires), was an Argentine film actor, film director and tango singer of the classic era. Early life Born in Buenos Aires, del Carril was the son of parents of a rich economic position, his mother Orsolina Bertani was born in Argentina (daughter of the Italian Anarchist Orsini Bertani), but his father Hugo Fontana was an Italian architect, born in Milan. But in spite of the comforts and the comfortable life they led, his parents separated and young Hugo was left in the charge of a family friend. Career Del Carril originally began as a popular personality on Argentine radio, and parlayed that into a film career that began in late 1936. La Rioja Province, Argentina
La Rioja () is a province of Argentina located in the west of the country. The landscape of the province consist of a series of arid to semi-arid mountain ranges and agricultural valleys in between. It is in one of these valleys that the capital of the province, the city of la La Rioja, lies. Neighboring provinces are from the north clockwise Catamarca, Córdoba, San Luis and San Juan. Facundo Quiroga
Juan Facundo Quiroga (November 27, 1788 – February 16, 1835) was an Argentine caudillo (military strongman) who supported federalism at the time when the country was still in formation. Early years Quiroga was born in San Antonio, La Rioja, the son of a traditional but impoverished Riojan family of cattle breeders. He was sent at a young age to San Juan to be educated. Early in his life, he became a problem child, and escaped from school. During his wandering in the desert between San Juan and La Rioja, he purportedly encountered and killed a cougar, earning him the nickname ''El Tigre de los Llanos'' ("the Tiger of the Plains", after the ''Llanos'', the region of his birth). After the May Revolution proclaimed the self-rule of the country, Quiroga tried to enter the independentist army. Federico Luppi
Federico Luppi (; February 23, 1936 – October 20, 2017) was an Argentine-Spanish film, TV, radio and theatre actor. He won numerous awards throughout his acting career, including a Concha de Plata at the San Sebastian International Film Festival. Biography Luppi worked mostly in Argentine cinema, but also worked in Chile, Mexico, Spain, and the United States. He acted in almost 100 films and 50 television series from the time of his debut in 1964. His first films were Pajarito Gómez and Psique y sexo in 1965. In 2004, he directed his first film, '' Pasos'' (''Steps''), made in Spain.
