Yngve Sætre
Yngve Leidulv Sætre (born 13 May 1962 in Ørsta, Norway) is a Norwegian record producer, musician (vocals and keyboards). He worked as a record producer in Sigma Studio, before, together with Jørgen Træen, he started Duper Studio in Møhlenpris, Bergen in 1996. Career Sætre has produced albums for several well-known Norwegian artists and bands, like DumDum Boys (five albums), Anne Grete Preus (''Alfabet''), Kaizers Orchestra, Kjetil Grande (''Uppers, Downers, Screamers & Howlers''), Ephemera (''Sun''), Vidar Vang (''Stand Up Straight''), "Trang Fødsel" (''Hybel'' and ''Damp''), Christine Sandtorv (''First last dance''), og 3 album for John Olav Nilsen & Gjengen. He is also known as the lead singer of the Norwegian band Barbie Bones (1987–1993) from Bergen. Spellemannprisen, often referred to as the Norwegian Grammy Awards in English, is a Norwegian music award presented to Norwegian musicians. The award was established by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), an organization that represents the interests of the recording industry worldwide. First awarded in 1973, the prize honours musicians from the previous year; it is still awarded annually, usually in January or February. Razika
Razika was a Norwegian alternative indie pop band from Møhlenpris, Bergen with various indie rock, punk, ska and reggae influences. While their early work featured some tracks in English, they primarily composed songs in their native Norwegian. In 2010, they were signed to the Smalltown Supersound label and have released four albums: ''Program 91'' (in 2011), ''På vei hjem'' (in 2013), ''Ut til de andre'' (in 2015) and ''Sånn Kjennes Verden Ut'' (in 2018). Exhibiting more of a synth pop style, their fourth studio represented a stylistic departure from their previous work. Razika split up in 2019 after the summer festival season. Toy (Norwegian Band)
Toy (established 2002 in Bergen, Norway) is an electronic duo formed by musician and producer Jørgen Træen from Bergen and the Bergen-based composer Alisdair Stirling originally from London. Biography Toy released the single ''Rabbit Pushing Mower/Valley Cars'' (2002) as a vinyl seven inch on Telle Records described by the BBC as an amusing cream puff of a tune. The next single was released on the label Smalltown Supersound, ''Sedan Through Tunnel/Decorama''. Both of these singles was sold out quickly. The debut album by the duo ''Toy'' (2006), was the released on Smalltown Supersound, and received brilliant criticism. Morten Abel Knutsen (born 15 October 1962), better known by his stage name Morten Abel is a Norwegian pop artist, and one of Norway's best-selling domestic artists. Career Morten Abel was born and grew up near Bodø, but moved to Stavanger when he was 15 years old. There he became the lead singer of a band called Catrix, which soon changed their name to "Mods". They released two albums in Norwegian language in 1981 and 1982, and had a big hit with a song called "Tore Tang". A third album in English language was released in 1984. Sondre Lerche (; born 5 September 1982) is a Norwegian singer, songwriter and guitarist, now based in Los Angeles, California. He has released nine studio albums. Early life Growing up in a suburb of Bergen, Lerche was heavily influenced by 1980s pop. Lerche was fascinated by bands such as the Beatles, A-ha, the Beach Boys, and Prefab Sprout, and began formal guitar instruction at the age of eight. Not being satisfied with classical lessons, Lerche's teacher introduced him to Brazilian music, such as bossa nova, and thus formed the foundation of Lerche's vast array of complex melodies and chords throughout his music today. Kjartan Kristiansen
Kjartan Kristiansen (born 14 August 1963 in Trondheim, Norway) is the guitarist and backing vocalist in the Norwegian band DumDum Boys, and he is also the lyricist and main songwriter. Biography Kristiansen established the Punk band Wannskrækk in 1978, and in 1985 they changed the name to DumDum Boys. They were one of the leading Norwegian rock bands in the 1980s and 90s.
