Kjartan Kristiansen
Kjartan Kristiansen (born 14 August 1963 in Trondheim, Norway) is the guitarist and backing vocalist in the Norwegian band DumDum Boys, and he is also the lyricist and main songwriter. Biography Kristiansen established the Punk band Wannskrækk in 1978, and in 1985 they changed the name to DumDum Boys. They were one of the leading Norwegian rock bands in the 1980s and 90s. He has also been part of "The Beste", which included former members of The Aller Værste!. The album from 1985 contains two songs by Kristiansen, that he performs on the record. in additione he has released an EP and two albums with the band 'Tweeterfriendly Music' in the period from 2001 to 2003. In 2006 he was awarded Edvardprisen in the class of Popular music for the song «Enhjørning» on the DumDum Boys album ''Gravitasjon''. Trondheim ( , , ; sma, Tråante), historically Kaupangen, Nidaros and Trondhjem (), is a city and municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The Aller Værste!
The Aller Værste! (1979–1981) was a Norwegian rock band from Bergen, that was awarded Spellemannprisen for the album '' Materialtretthet'' (1980). Biography The Aller Værste! was influenced and inspired by punk, new wave, ska and reggae and released two albums and three 7" singles/EPs. Several of their releases are considered classics in Norwegian rock. They received a Spellemannprisen in 1980, for the album ''Materialtretthet''. Their two first singles were played at the BBC, by program manager John Peel. The manager of the band was Lars Lauritzsen. They had a reunion tour in 1990 and concerts in Bergen and Oslo in 1999. Expanding bullets, also known colloquially as dumdum bullets, are projectiles designed to expand on impact. This causes the bullet to increase in diameter, to combat over-penetration and produce a larger wound, thus dealing more damage to a living target. For this reason, they are used for hunting and by most police departments, but are generally prohibited for use in war. Two typical designs are the hollow-point bullet and the soft-point bullet. Spellemannprisen, often referred to as the Norwegian Grammy Awards in English, is a Norwegian music award presented to Norwegian musicians. The award was established by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), an organization that represents the interests of the recording industry worldwide. First awarded in 1973, the prize honours musicians from the previous year; it is still awarded annually, usually in January or February. Aslak Dørum
Aslak Dørum (born 7 August 1964 in Oslo, Norway) is a Norwegian writer and bassist of the Norwegian rock band DumDum Boys. Career Dørum joined DumDum Boys in 1993, after having been closely associated with them for years, and been responsible for the band's videos. He immediately became a song writer for the band, and alongside Kjartan Kristiansen, won the Spellemannprisen 2009 in the class 'Text writer of the year', for the lyrics to the DumDum Boys album ''Tidsmaskin'' (2009).
