Yip Pui Yin
Yip Pui Yin (; born 6 August 1987) is a badminton player from Hong Kong. Career Yip played at the 2005 World Badminton Championships in Anaheim. In the women's singles event she reached the third round after beating Laura Molina of Spain and Kanako Yonekura (11th seed) in round one and round two respectively. In the third round she was beaten by the 1st seed and reigning world champion Zhang Ning of China. She won the silver medal in the 2006 Asian Games after losing to fellow Hong Kong player Wang Chen in the final. In 2007, she played at the World Championships and was defeated in the third round by Zhu Lin, of China, 9–21, 21–16, 14–21. Yip made her first appearance at the 2008 Summer Olympics. In 2009, she won the gold medal in the 2009 East Asian Games when her opponent Zhou Mi retired halfway through the deciding set. She won 15-21, 21-13, 17-10. 2005 Asian Junior Badminton Championships
The 2005 Asian Junior Badminton Championships is an Asia continental junior championships to crown the best U-19 badminton players across Asia. This tournament were held in Tennis Indoor Senayan, Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex, Jakarta, Indonesia from 11–17 July. In the team event, South Korean boys', and the Chinese girls' team won the gold medal respectively. Sung Ji-hyun
Sung Ji-hyun (; born 29 July 1991) is a South Korean badminton player from Seoul. She is an Asian Championship gold medalist, a two-time Summer Universiade gold medalist, and a World Championship bronze medalist. She was also part of South Korean teams that won the 2010 Uber Cup, 2017 Sudirman Cup, as well the team event at the 2013 and 2015 Summer Universiade. The badminton tournaments at the 2012 Olympic Games in London took place between 28 July and 5 August at Wembley Arena. A total of 172 athletes competed in five events: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles. Wang Chen (; born 21 June 1976) is a Chinese badminton player who later represented Hong Kong. Personal life Wang married mainland Chinese badminton player Zheng Yumin in 2002. Their son Zheng Xingjun (鄭星駿）Longlong (龍龍) was born in 2012，second son Zheng Xingrong (鄭星榮） was born in 2015. Zhang Ning
Zhang Ning (; born 19 May 1975) is a former Chinese badminton player. She won the Olympic gold medal twice for women's singles in both 2004 and 2008. She has played badminton on the world scene since the mid-1990s and has been particularly successful since 2002 while in her late twenties and early thirties, relatively late for singles at the highest level, and especially for top players in the Chinese system who are developed very early. She is known for her consistency of shot, deception and constant pressure, dictating the pace of rallies and working her opponents in all four corners of the court.
