Yiftah Ron-Tal
Yiftah Ron-Tal ( he, יפתח רון-טל; born 1956) is the director of the Israel Electric Corporation, former head of the Israel Port Authority and former major general in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Biography Ron-Tal was born on Netiv HaLamed-Heh, a kibbutz in the Elah valley in central Israel. Drafted in 1974 into the Israeli Armored Corps, he became commander of the IDF Ground Forces Command. After leaving the military, Ron-Tal headed the Israel Port Authority and, as of 2011, he was serving as head of the Israel Electric Corporation. Controversy On October 4, 2006, he said publicly that IDF Chief of Staff Dan Halutz should accept responsibility for malfunctions in the Israel-Hezbollah War and accept the consequences. He hinted that Israeli PM Ehud Olmert should do the same. Yiftah Ron-Tal 2013
Yiftah ( he, יִפְתָּח, lit. ''He will open'') is a kibbutz in northern Israel. Located near the Lebanese border and Kiryat Shmona, it falls under the jurisdiction of Upper Galilee Regional Council. In it had a population of . History Kibbutz Yiftah was established on 18 August 1948 by demobilised Palmach soldiers who were members of the Yiftach Brigade, after which the kibbutz is named. Metzudat Koach is located nearby. Yiftah is located near Jahula, but on the land belonging to the depopulated Palestinian village of Qadas. Ehud Olmert
Ehud Olmert (; he, אֶהוּד אוֹלְמֶרְט, ; born 30 September 1945) is an Israeli politician and lawyer. He served as the 12th Prime Minister of Israel from 2006 to 2009 and before that as a cabinet minister from 1988 to 1992 and from 2003 to 2006. Between his first and second stints as a cabinet member, he served as mayor of Jerusalem from 1993 to 2003. Ilan Harari
llan Harari ( he, אילן הררי; January 7, 1959) is a retired Israel Defense Forces brigadier general who served as chief education officer of the Education and Youth Corps. Harari served in various combat positions, including a command position in the Nahal Brigade and as a battalion commander in the Golani Brigade. On September 22, 2006, he announced his retirement and stated that Israel had lost the Lebanon War. General Yiftah Ron-Tal voiced the same opinion. Israel's Ramatkal, Chief of Staff Dan Halutz disputed this assessment. Israeli settlements, or Israeli colonies, are civilian communities inhabited by Israeli citizens, overwhelmingly of Jewish ethnicity, built on lands occupied by Israel in the 1967 Six-Day War.
