Yibing Wu
Wu Yibing (; ; born 14 October 1999) is a Chinese professional tennis player. He has a career-high singles ranking of No. 58, achieved on 13 February 2023, and a doubles ranking of No. 295, achieved on 23 April 2018. He is the first Chinese man in the Open Era to reach, and to win, an ATP Tour-level singles final, doing so at the 2023 Dallas Open. Wu became the world No. 1 in the ITF Junior Circuit ranking after winning the boys' singles title at the 2017 US Open. Wu represented China at the 2017 Davis Cup, where he has a W/L record of 1–0. He defeated Jason Jung in his first Davis Cup match. Juniors In December 2016, Wu reached the final of the 2016 Orange Bowl, a Grade A junior event, losing to Miomir Kecmanović in the final. Tennis is a racket sport that is played either individually against a single opponent ( singles) or between two teams of two players each ( doubles). Each player uses a tennis racket that is strung with cord to strike a hollow rubber ball covered with felt over or around a net and into the opponent's court. 2017 US Open (tennis)
The 2017 US Open was the 137th edition of tennis' US Open and the fourth and final Grand Slam event of the year. It was held on outdoor hard courts at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City. Experimental rules featured in qualifying for the main draw as well as in the junior, wheelchair and exhibition events. Stan Wawrinka and Angelique Kerber were the previous year's men's and women's singles champions. Hsu Yu-hsiou ( zh, 許育修; born 2 April 1999) is a Taiwanese tennis player. Hsu has a career high ATP singles ranking of 331 achieved on 7 March 2022. He also has a career high ATP doubles ranking of 163 achieved on 13 June 2022. Junior career As a junior, Hsu achieved a career-high total combined ranking of no.5, reached on 12 June 2017. The 2017 Australian Open was a tennis tournament that took place at Melbourne Park between 16 and 29 January 2017. It was the 105th edition of the Australian Open, and the first Grand Slam tournament of the year. Miomir Kecmanović ( sr-Cyrl, Миомир Кецмановић, ; born 31 August 1999) is a Serbian professional tennis player. The Orange Bowl International Tennis Championships, known as the Dunlop Orange Bowl International Tennis Championships from 2008 to 2013 with Dunlop as the title sponsor, and renamed the Metropolia Orange Bowl International Tennis Championships from 2013 onwards, is a prestigious junior tennis tournament, one of five that are rated by the ITF as 'Grade A'. Jason Jung (; ; born 15 June 1989) is an American-born professional tennis player who represents Taiwan. He is a University of Michigan alumnus who has cracked the Top 150 in the ATP rankings and also won four ATP Challenger events. Personal life Jung played college tennis at the University of Michigan, where he majored in political science. China Davis Cup Team
The China men's national tennis team represents the People's Republic of China in Davis Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Chinese Tennis Association. It was represented by the Republic of China from 1924-1946. The team did not participate between 1946-1983, and in 1983 the People's Republic of China competed for the first time. ITF Junior Circuit
The ITF Junior Circuit is the premier level for worldwide competition among under-18 junior tennis players. Founded in 1977 with only nine tournaments, the 2011 ITF Junior Circuit offered over 350 tournaments in 118 countries. Mirroring the ATP and WTA circuits, the ITF Junior Circuit ranks players and crowns a year end world champion. History The ITF Junior Circuit is organized by the International Tennis Federation.
