Linha de Cintura, originally called ''Linha de Circumvalação de Lisboa'', is a railway line in Lisbon, Portugal. The half circle route was opened in 1888REIS ''et al'', 2006:12 and connects all radial lines with stations in Lisbon: Cascais, Sul, Sintra/ Oeste, and Norte. Entre Campos station is part of the Yellow Line of the Lisbon Metro. History It is one of the 11 stations that belong to the original Lisbon Metro network and opened on December 29, 1959. Campo Grande is an elevated interchange station on the Yellow and Green Lines of the Lisbon Metro. It has a large bus terminal at ground level and is located on Rua Cipriano Dourado just north of Avenida General Norton de Matos in the Lisbon parish of Alvalade, in the neighbourhood of Campo Grande. Location The station adjoins Estádio José Alvalade home of Sporting Clube de Portugal. Nearby destinations include Pimenta Palace, Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro Museum, Universidade Lusófona and northern access to the Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon. Alvalade (Lisbon Metro)
Alvalade is a station on the Green Line of the Lisbon Metro. The station is located under Av. de Roma, at the intersection with Av. da Igreja in the Alvalade neighbourhood. History The original 1972 design of the station was by the architect Denis Gomes with art work by Maria Keil. On 17 August 2006 the south lobby was opened based on a renovation project designed by the architect Sanchez Jorge with art installations by Bela Silva; the remodeled north lobby would be completed on 25 October 2007, this time with assistance from the original artist Maria Keil. The station was also equipped to be able to serve passengers with physical disabilities; lifts provide access to the platforms.
