Chkalovskaya (Yekaterinburg Metro)
Chkalovskaya (russian: link=no, Чкаловская) is a station of the Yekaterinburg Metro which was opened on July 28, 2012. It is the eighth station on the first line of the Yekaterinburg Metro. Chkalovskaya Station is named after the region with the same name. Botanicheskaya (russian: link=no, Ботаническая) is a station of the Yekaterinburg Metro which was opened on November 28, 2011. The station is unique because the roof design is based on honeycombs representing the city's botanical gardens. It is also named after the nearby Botanical Garden of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the adjacent Botanichesky residential area.
