Yağlıdere Stream
Yağlıdere () is a stream that flows to the Black Sea in the west end of Espiye, the capital town of Espiye district in Giresun Province in Turkey. Description The stream has two major and many small tributaries. Tohumluk Creek, one of its main arms, begins in Kurtbeli highland and is used by nomadic people in summers. Kılıçlar stream begins in Erimez. These arms flow north to Üçköprü of Çakrak village and join each other there. After this point, the stream is called as Yağlıdere. In its narrow valley it flows to the town of Yağlıdere, the center of the district with the same name. Finally it ends in the Black Sea near Espiye. It is long. It has high flow especially in spring because of rain and snow in the Giresun mountains. This has caused flooding in Yağlıdere in the past. Yağlıdere
Yağlıdere is a town and district of Giresun Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey. The district covers one end of the Giresun Mountains, including part of the valley of the Yağlıdere stream, which gives the district its name. When the mountain streams that feed the Yağlıdere are in full flood, they can become a threat to the district. Yağlıdere is an agricultural district. The hillsides are planted with hazelnuts, fruit trees, chestnuts, and other deciduous trees. Some tea and corn are grown, and animals graze on the higher slopes. The small town of Yağlıdere was founded in 1811 with a marketplace and large mosque. 7,095 people live there. A large portion of the population has migrated to America, especially New York and New Jersey, giving the town its nicknames ''New Yağlıdere'' and ''Little New York''. Alucra
Alucra is a town and a district of Giresun Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey, from the city of Giresun. It was a district of Şebinkarahisar province between 1924-1933. Etymology Alucra is a modification of the Ottoman Empire name ''El Ücra'' meaning ''far-off' or ''remote''. Geography Alucra is an inland district, high in the Giresun Mountains, in the upper reaches of the Kelkit River. The weather on the Black Sea coast is typically wet and humid but Alucra is high inland therefore much cooler in winter, when it snows, and then dry and hot in summer. The snow melts in March and April and the spring rains last until June, during these months the rivers are full. Butter

Giresun (), formerly Cerasus (Ancient Greek: Κερασοῦς, Greek: Κερασούντα), is the provincial capital of Giresun Province in the Black Sea Region of northeastern Turkey, about west of the city of Trabzon.
