Yau Tsim Mong Football Team () is a football club based in Yau Tsim Mong District of Hong Kong which currently competes in the Hong Kong Second Division. The club was formed in 2003. The team plays its home matches at Kowloon Tsai Park. History The club was promoted to the Hong Kong Second Division, then the second tier of Hong Kong football, in the 2006–07 season after coming second in the Hong Kong Third Division "District" League and winning the playoffs. However, they were instantly relegated back to the third tier after finishing the season with only a single win and 7 points out of 20 games, and conceding 51 goals, an average of 2.5 per game. In the 2014–15 season, the club was promoted straight from the Third Division to the First Division following the restructuring of the league, while in actuality it was promoted from the third to the second tier. Kowloon Tsai Park
Kowloon Tsai Park is a park located in the Kowloon Tsai area of New Kowloon in Hong Kong. It lies within the Kowloon City District and opened on 5 June 1964. History In the 1950s, the area was used as a borrow area to supply fill for the extension of the nearby Kai Tak Airport runway. The Urban Council commissioned architecture firm Leigh and Orange to draw up plans for the redevelopment of this area of "barren hills and waste lands" as a new recreational area for the citizens of Kowloon. The first phase of the new park opened in 1964. The Kowloon Tsai Swimming Pool, the first in Kowloon, was funded by the Royal Hong Kong Jockey Club and also opened in 1964. Originally, the pool was not open in the evening because it sat under the airport flight path, hence the Civil Aviation Department would not agree on the use of outdoor floodlighting there. Eastern District Sports Association (, also known as Eastern District, ) is a semi-professional football club in Hong Kong. The team currently competes in the Hong Kong First Division. The team play their home matches at Happy Valley Recreation Ground. History In the 2002–03 season, the Hong Kong Football Association reformed the Hong Kong Second Division League and the Hong Kong Third Division League. The association suggested different district councils to form a football based in its district. It is operated by Wong Tai Sin District Council. History Founded in 1979, Wong Tai Sin joined the Third Division League in 1980s. In 1990, due to the expansion of Second Division League, the club was being promoted to the second-tier division.
