Tsuen Wan District
Tsuen Wan District is one of the 18 districts of Hong Kong. It is located in the New Territories and is served by the Tsuen Wan line of the MTR metro system. Its area is 60,7 kmĀ². Its residents, who mostly live in Tsuen Wan Town, enjoy the highest income in the New Territories. Part of the Tsuen Wan New Town is located in the Tsuen Wan District. An exclave of Tsuen Wan is also located on the northeastern part of Lantau island. The Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is within the boundary of Tsuen Wan District. Yau Kom Tau Village (), sometimes transliterated as Yau Kam Tau Village, is a village located in the Yau Kom Tau area, west of Tsuen Wan, in Tsuen Wan District, Hong Kong. Administration Yau Kom Tau is a recognized village under the New Territories Small House Policy. It is one of the villages represented within the Tsuen Wan Rural Committee. For electoral purposes, Yau Kom Tau Village is part of the Lai To constituency, which was formerly represented by Ronald Tse Man-chak until July 2021. History Yau Kom Tau Village was established in 1864 and settled by the Yeung family from Yuen Long. It was originally located at the place of the current Nan Fung Centre, next to Tsuen Wan station. Approach Beach
Approach Beach is a gazetted beach located near Yau Kom Tau on Castle Peak Road in Ting Kau, New Territories, Hong Kong. The beach has barbecue pits and is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong Government. The beach is rated as Grade 2 by the Environmental Protection Department for its water quality. The beach, along with Ting Kau Beach, is one of the only two gazetted beaches in Tsuen Wan District that can "swim in Victoria Harbour". The beach offers views of the Ting Kau Bridge as well as Tsing Ma Bridge. Castle Peak Road
Castle Peak Road is the longest road in Hong Kong. Completed in 1920, it runs in the approximate shape of an arc of a semi-circle. It runs West from Tai Po Road in Sham Shui Po, New Kowloon, to Tuen Mun, then north to Yuen Long then east to Sheung Shui, in the very north of the New Territories. It is divided into 22 sections. It serves south, west and north New Territories, being one of the most distant roads in early Hong Kong. Name The road was named after Castle Peak, a peak in the western New Territories. Tsuen Wan West
Tsuen Wan West () is situated at the west of Tsuen Wan, New Territories, Hong Kong, along Castle Peak Road between Yau Kom Tau and Chai Wan Kok. There are mainly private residential estates, including Belvedere Garden, Bayview Garden, Greenview Court, the Panorama and Serenade Cove. The largest one is Belvedere Gardens. Previously, a bus terminus called "Tsuen Wan West Bus Terminus" was located in Tsuen Wan West, but it was later relocated to Bayview Garden after the construction of Bayview Garden was completed.
