Yasmin Rostm
Yasmine Mohmed Abdulmagid Rostom ( ar, ياسمين محمد عبد المجيد رستم; born 25 July 1993 in Alexandria) is an Egyptian Olympic rhythmic gymnast. Career Rostom competed at the 2009 World Championships in Mie, Japan, where she finished 111th in all-around qualifications. In 2010, she competed at the World Championships in Moscow, finishing 77th individually in qualifications, and 29th with the Egyptian team. At the 2011 World Championships in Montpellier, France, she finished 66th individually in qualifications, and 21st with the Egyptian team. Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport in which gymnasts perform on a floor with an apparatus: hoop, ball, clubs, ribbon. The sport combines elements of gymnastics, dance and calisthenics; gymnasts must be strong, flexible, agile, dexterous and coordinated. Francesca Victoria R. "Frankie" Jones (born 9 November 1990) is a retired Welsh rhythmic gymnast who represented Wales at three successive Commonwealth Games. At the 2014 Commonwealth Games Jones won both the Ribbon event in rhythmic gymnastics and the David Dixon Award. Career At the 2006 Commonwealth Games, Jones finished 12th overall in the individual all-around competition. At the 2010 Commonwealth Games, Francesca again represented Wales in the rhythmic gymnastic competition, this time finishing in 4th place overall and winning the event's prestigious silver medal in the hoop discipline. Sara Mohmed Rostom (Arabic: سارة محمد رستم born 1996) is an Egyptian rhythmic gymnast. She represented her country at international competitions. Personal life Sara took up rhythmic gymnastics at age five at the Alexandria Sporting Club in Egypt, her older sister Yasmine (who became the first Egyptian to compete in the rhythmic gymnastics at the Olympic Games in 2012 and is also a judge) already competed in rhythmic gymnastics, and when their parents saw that she was successful, they pushed her and her younger sister to try the sport. Her dream was to compete at Rio 2016 Olympics. She speaks Arabic, English, French. Career Rostom entered the Egyptian national team when she was 12 as she won nationals in 2007.
