Yasir Afridi
Yasir Afridi (born 27 July 1988) is a Pakistani footballer who plays for Khan Research Laboratories and Pakistan national football team as a midfielder. He competed at the 2010 Asian Games on the Pakistan national football team. Khan has been with Khan Research Laboratories then they won three Pakistan Premier League titles and four National Football Challenge Cup. Personal life Afridi was born on 27 July 1988 in Landi Kotal, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Afridi is a cousin of Shaheen Afridi and Riaz Afridi, both of whom have played cricket for Pakistan national cricket team. Career Club career Afridi has played his entire career at Khan Research Laboratories, coming into the first team in 2010–11 season. The club have won seven titles. Lanḍī Kōtal ( ps, لنډي کوتل, ur, ) or Lwargai ( ps, لواړګی ''Lwāṛgai'') is a town in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, and the administrative capital of Khyber District. It was one of the largest towns in the former Federally Administered Tribal Areas, and is located above sea level, on the route across the mountains to the city of Peshawar. Landi Kotal is at the western edge of the Khyber Pass that marks the entrance to the Nangarhar Province of Afghanistan, which is located just to the west. Landi Kotal is a tourist destination. 2010–11 Pakistan Premier League
The 2010–11 Pakistan Premier League for professional association football, was the 7th season of the Pakistan Premier League, since its establishment in 2004, and the 56th season of Pakistan domestic league. The season began on 16 September 2010. Khan Research Laboratories were the defending champions. WAPDA won the league, it was their 4th Premier League and 8th Pakistani league title. The 2011 season is the 57th season of Pakistan domestic football and the 8th season of the Pakistan Premier League, and started on 5 July 2011 under the auspices of Pakistan Football Federation (PFF). The season ending on 29 December with mid season break between 30 July and 14 September. KRL F.C. under head coach Tariq Lufti were crowned champions after losing only one game the whole season. They also took the winners prize of Rs 700,000. Afghan Club were the surprise of the season after finished second, the first time since the PPL started that a non-departmental club finished in the top three and took Rs 500,00. The AFC President's Cup was an annual international association football competition between domestic clubs sides run by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) held between 2005 and 2014. The competition targeted emerging football nations, and was set below the AFC Champions League and AFC Cup competitions. Competition format Between 8 and 12 teams participated in each edition of the competition. From 2005 to 2007, 8 clubs were placed into two groups of 4 teams.
