Yasamal Raion
Yasamal is a settlement and raion in Baku, Azerbaijan. It has a population of 245,900. One of the central districts of Baku, Yasamal district, was established in 1932 as the administrative unit of the district, from the south to Sabail (3 km), west from Garadagh (3.2 km), north from Binagadi (2.8 km) and Nasimi (5 km) borders with regions. The territory of the district is 16.22 km2. Through the district, from the "Kurt Gate" and Badamdar settlement to the south bypassing Baku-Gazakh and Baku-Astara and west of New Yasamal to Baku via Baku-Gazakh, Baku-Astara and Baku-Yalama, and from Bilajari, there are exits to Gazakh and Baku-Yalama highways. 11 internally displaced persons live in the region. Inshaatchilar ( az, İnşaatçılar) is a Baku Metro Baku Metro ( az, Bakı metropoliteni) is a rapid transit system serving Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. First opened on 6 November 1967 during the time of the Soviet Union, it has features typical of ex-Soviet systems, including very deep centra ... station. It was opened on 31 December 1985. The station is located in Yasamal district under Abbas Mirza Narifzade Street. Its length is 6.4 km. During the wiring of the tunnel, a water breakthrough occurred in the section between Elmler Akademiyasi and Inshaatchylar stations. There was a threat of flooding of neighboring stations, and subsequently the construction of the station had to be carried out according to a new plan. The work was carried out by freezing with liquid nitrogen. Elmler Akademiyasi (Baku Metro)
Elmler Akademiyasi ( az, Elmlər Akademiyası) is a Baku Metro station. It was opened on 31 December 1985. It is named after the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences ( az, Azərbaycan Milli Elmlər Akademiyası) which is nearby. Its construction was carried out in difficult geological conditions by freezing with liquid nitrogen. In the middle hall of the platform, an octagonal element of the national architecture of white color on a dark gray granite floor was used before each transition to the railway track. Another thin octagonal geometric figure is placed inside it. The entire middle hall is decorated with two parallel white stripes in front of the pylon. And in front of the walls of the pylons, two more vertical stripes connect the inner stripes. Qazakh District
Qazax District (; az, Qazax rayonu) is one of the 66 districts of Azerbaijan. It is located in the north-west of the country and belongs to the Gazakh-Tovuz Economic Region. The district borders the district of Aghstafa, and the Tavush Province of Armenia. Its capital and largest city is Gazakh. As of 2020, the district had a population of 98,400. A raion (also spelt rayon) is a type of administrative unit of several post-Soviet states. The term is used for both a type of subnational entity and a division of a city. The word is from the French (meaning 'honeycomb, department'), and is commonly translated as "district" in English. A raion is a standardized administrative entity across most of the former Soviet Union and is usually a subdivision two steps below the national level, such as a subdivision of an oblast. However, in smaller USSR republics, it could be the primary level of administrative division.
