Yanqing (town)
Yanqing Town () is a town situated on the west side of Yanqing District, Beijing, China. It borders Zhangshanying Town in its north, Shenjiaying Town in its east, as well as Dayushu and Kangzhuang Towns in its south. Additionally, it contains Rulin, Xiangshuiyuan and Baiquan Subdistricts within it, and has two exclaves south of Baiquan. In 2020, Its population was determined to be 54,790. The town's name had been Longqing () during the early Ming dynasty. In 1567, to avoid the name taboo of Longqing Emperor, the region was renamed Yanqing (). Shenjiaying
Shenjiaying Town () is a town in the Yanqing District of Beijing. It shares border with Zhangshanying and Jiuxian Towns in the north, Yongning Town in the east, Jingzhuang and Dayushu Towns in the south, and Yanqing Town in the west. In 2020, it was home to 16,661. This town's name refers to Shenjiaying Village, where the town's government is located. Geography Shenjiaying Town is on Guishui River's alluvial plain, within the Yanhuai Basin. China National Highway 110
China National Highway 110 (G110) runs from Beijing to Qingtongxia, via Hohhot, Baotou in Inner Mongolia, and Yinchuan. It heads northwest from Beijing to Zhangjiakou then heads straight west, and runs to approximately . In October 2004 and November 2004, it was overwhelmed with traffic diverted from the Jingzhang Expressway, occurring as a result of a massive traffic jam on the expressway. In a related incident in August 2010, a 100-km traffic jam occurred on this route. In 2013, under a new 2013-2030 plan by the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Transport, the G110 has been extended to Qingtongxia. Longqing Emperor
The Longqing Emperor (; 4March 15375July 1572), personal name Zhu Zaiji (朱載坖), was the 13th Emperor of the Ming dynasty, reigned from 1567 to 1572. He was initially known as the Prince of Yu (裕王) from 1539 to 1567 before he became the emperor. His era name, Longqing, means "great celebration". Reign After the death of the Jiajing Emperor, the Longqing Emperor inherited a country in disarray after years of mismanagement and corruption. Realizing the depth of chaos his father's long reign had caused, the Longqing Emperor set about reforming the government by re-employing talented officials previously banished by his father, such as Hai Rui. He also purged the government of corrupt officials namely Daoist priests whom the Jiajing Emperor had favoured in the hope of improving the situation in the empire. Ming Dynasty

Kangzhuang, Beijing
Kangzhuang Town () is a town in the Yanqing District of Beijing. It borders Zhangshanying and Yanqing Towns to its north, Dayushu Town to its east, Badaling Town to its southeast, Donghuayuan and Xiaonanxinbao Towns to its southwest, and has several pieces of lands north of the Guishui River. The census had counted 32,815 residents for this town in 2020. It is named Kangzhuang () because Kang was the most popular surname in the region during the founding of the settlement in 1593. Dayushu, Beijing
Dayushu Town () is a town in the Yanqing District of Beijing. It borders Baiquan Subdistrict, Yanqing and Shenjiaying Towns to the north, Jingzhuang Town to the east, Badaling Town to the south, and Kangzhuang Town to the west. In the year 2020, it had a population of 16,166. The name Dayushu () comes from a large elm tree that used to exist within the region during the Ming dynasty.
