Yannis Bezos
Ioannis "Giannis" Bezos ( el, Ιωάννης (Γιάννης) Μπέζος; born in Athens, 10 September 1956) is a Greek actor and director, widely considered one of the best Greek comedic actors of all time, performing on TV and in the theatre. He has also acted in five films. Biography The person who discovered Bezos first was Thymios Karakatsanis, at a performance at ''Smaroula'' theatre. Initially, he worked with Aliki Vougiouklaki on stage. ''Oi Treis Harites'' ( el, Οι Τρεις Χάριτες, ''The Three Harites'') is a Greek comedy series created by Michalis Reppas and Thanasis Papathanasiou which aired on Mega Channel from February 8, 1990 to April 20, 1992. The name "Harites" was taken partly from ancient Greek mythology ( The Three Graces) and partly from their surname, which was "Haritou". The series describes the daily life of three single sisters in their middle forties who live in the same house. The Frogs
''The Frogs'' ( grc-gre, Βάτραχοι, Bátrakhoi, Frogs; la, Ranae, often abbreviated ''Ran.'' or ''Ra.'') is a comedy written by the Ancient Greek playwright Aristophanes. It was performed at the Lenaia, one of the Festivals of Dionysus in Athens, in 405 BC and received first place. Plot ''The Frogs'' tells the story of the god Dionysus, who, despairing of the state of Athens' tragedians, travels to Hades (the underworld) to bring the playwright Euripides back from the dead. (Euripides had died the year before, in 406 BC.) He brings along his slave Xanthias, who is smarter and braver than Dionysus. As the play opens, Xanthias and Dionysus argue over what kind of jokes Xanthias can use to open the play. ''Le Bourgeois gentilhomme'' (, translated as ''The Bourgeois Gentleman'', ''The Middle-Class Aristocrat'', or ''The Would-Be Noble'') is a five-act ''comédie-ballet'' – a Play (theatre), play intermingled with music, dance and singing – written by Molière, first presented on 14 October 1670 before the court of Louis XIV at the Château of Chambord by Molière's troupe of actors. Subsequent public performances were given at the Théâtre du Palais-Royal (rue Saint-Honoré), theatre of the Palais-Royal beginning on 23 November 1670. It has been acclaimed by modern critics as a perfectly realized fantasy remarkable for its mimicry of birds and for the gaiety of its songs. Unlike the author's other early plays, it includes no direct mention of the Peloponnesian War and there are few references to Athenian politics, and yet it was staged not long after the commencement of the Sicilian Expedition, an ambitious military campaign that greatly increased Athenian commitment to the war effort.
