Yamaha CT2
The Yamaha CT2 was an early version of the popular 175cc Trail/Enduro motorcycle. The CT2 followed on from the CT1C, and was superseded by the CT3. There are only minor differences between each version. The CT series was replaced with the DT175 from 1974 onwards. The CT3 was the basis for the original Yamaha AG175 released in 1974, and many parts are interchangeable between the two (and earlier CT variants). Yamaha RD350
The RD350 is a two-stroke motorcycle produced by Yamaha from 1973 to 1975. It evolved directly from the piston port (pre-reed valve intake tract), front drum-braked, five-speed Yamaha 350 cc "R5". The engine is an air-cooled, parallel twin, six-speed (in some markets, such as the UK, the first model was sold in five-speed form), reed valve-equipped intake tract two-stroke engine. The bike is usually referred to as a sport bike. All models were equipped with "Autolube" automatic oil injection, relieving the user from the need to mix gasoline and two-stroke oil. Rim sizes are 18" WM2 (1.85") front and 18" WM3 (2.15") rear, both being of chromed, wire spoked steel construction. In the UK, rim sizes were 1.60 front and 1.85 rear. Yamaha RD250
The Yamaha RD250 is a two-stroke motorcycle produced by Yamaha Motor Corporation between 1973 and 1987. Four generations of RD (also known as the RZ250 in the Japanese and Australian markets) were produced: the air-cooled models from 1973 up to 1979, and from 1980 until 1987 the liquid cooled models; known as the RD250LC, RD250LC-II and RD250 YPVS. The name RD stood for Race Developed. The standard bike weighed 152 kg dry and had a 247cc 2-stroke twin engine that produced 30 hp. It had a 6 speed gearbox and chain final drive. In 1983 the UK government reduced the maximum cc for learners to 125, killing off the 250 cc motorcycle class in a stroke. At the time, it was considered that the reason for the sudden change in the law was the RD250 which put a high-speed vehicle into the hands of inexperienced users.
