Mallam Yusuf Olaolu Ali, SAN is a Nigerian lawyer or law advocate, called to the Nigerian Bar in 1983. He is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria. He has served as the chairman and Editor-in-Chief of Nigerian Bar Journal. He has authored many books including "Anatomy of Corruption In Nigeria: Issues, Challenges And Solutions" and "Two Decades Of Forensic Advocacy At The Inner Bar in print". He is not not only a Legal icon but also a philanthropist, making contributions to humanity through the vehicle of the Yusuf Ali Foundation. Senior Advocate Of Nigeria
Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) is a title that may be conferred on legal practitioners in Nigeria of not less than ten years' standing and who have distinguished themselves in the legal profession. It is the equivalent of the rank of Queen's Counsel in the United Kingdom, from which Nigeria became History of Nigeria#Independence, independent in 1960 (History of Nigeria#First Republic, Republic 1963), as well as in South Australia, the Northern Territory, and Canada (except Ontario and Quebec).
