Yury Nesterenko (politician)
Yury Yuryevich Nesterenko (Russian: Юрий Юрьевич Нестеренко; born on 24 March 1981), is a Ukrainian-born Russian politician who is currently a member of the State Duma since 10 September 2023. He was elected in the by-elections to the 8th Russian State Duma on September 10, 2023, in the Simferopol single-mandate constituency. A member of the United Russia party, he was a member of the Simferopol City Council from 2014 to 2023. Biography Yuri Nesterenko was born in 1981 in Kirovohrad. He and his family later moved to Crimea. In 1997, Nesterenko graduated from school in Simferopol. In 2002, he graduated from the Taurida National University with a degree in jurisprudence. In 2009, he attended the National University of the State Tax Service of Ukraine with a degree in finance. Alexey Yuryevich Chernyak (russian: Алексей Юрьевич Черняк; born August 27, 1973) is a Russian political figure and a former member of the State Duma. Education and career In 2018, Chernyak was granted a Doctor of Sciences degree in economics; he presented his thesis at the Baltic Academy of Tourism and Entrepreneurship. Chernyak has been engaged in politics since 1999 when he founded the youth public organization "Altamira" in Simferopol. Kropyvnytskyi ( uk, Кропивницький, Kropyvnytskyi ) is a city in central Ukraine on the Inhul river with a population of . It is an administrative center of the Kirovohrad Oblast. Over its history, Kropyvnytskyi has changed its name several times. By-elections To The 8th Russian State Duma
By-elections to the 8th State Duma, 8th Russian State Duma will be held to fill vacancies in the State Duma between the 2021 Russian legislative election, 2021 election and the 2026 Russian legislative election, 2026 election. According to article 97 of the Federal Law "On elections of deputies of the State Duma", by-elections are appointed on the second Sunday of September (single voting day), but not less than 85 days before the day of voting. This means that if a vacant seat occurs before a single voting day, but less than 85 days before it, the election will be scheduled for next year. Also, by-elections are not appointed and are not held if, as a result of these elections, a Deputy can not be elected for a term of more than one year before the end of the constitutional term for which the State Duma was elected.
