Yuri Zhevnov
Yuri Zhevnov ( be, Юры Жаўноў; born 17 April 1981) is a professional football coach and a former player from Belarus. He is the goalkeepers' coach with Zenit St. Petersburg. Career Zhevnov started his career at third division. In 2000, he was signed by BATE Borisov. During UEFA Cup 2001/02 qualification match against FC Dinamo Tbilisi Zhevnov scored a goal from his own half. In 2005, was signed by FC Moscow. On 23 February 2010 Zenit St. Petersburg signed the Belarus international goalkeeper from FC Moscow on a four-year deal. International career Zhevnov is a former Captain of the Belarus national football team and has made over 30 appearances. On 3 September 2010, Zhevnov captained Belarus to a shocking 1-0 victory over France at the Stade de France. The 2010 Russian Premier League was the 19th season of the Russian football championship since the dissolution of the Soviet Union and ninth under the current Russian Premier League name. The season started on 12 March 2010 and the last matches were played on 29 November 2010. On 14 November 2010, Zenit Saint Petersburg clinched the title after a 5–0 win against Rostov. This season was the last one played during an entire year (March–November), as the Russian Football Union decided to schedule the following seasons in sync with the biggest European football leagues (August–May). The 2002 Belarusian Premier League was the 12th season of top-tier football in Belarus. It started on April 12 and ended on November 8, 2002. Belshina Bobruisk were the defending champions. The Belarusian Premier League or the Vyšejšaja Liha or the Vysheyshaya Liga ( be, Вышэйшая ліга, russian: Высшая лига, "Top League") is the top division of professional football in Belarus, and is organized by the Belarusian Football Federation. The number of teams in the competition has varied over the years from as high as 17 (1992–93 season) to as low as 11 (2012). As of 2016, the league included 16 teams. Each team plays every other team twice during the course of the season. At the end of the season, the two teams with the fewest points are automatically relegated to the Belarusian First League, while the third worst team plays a promotion-relegation playoff against the third best team from the second tier.
