Yuratski Bay
The Yuratski Bay (russian: Юрацкая губа; ''Yuratskaya Guba'') is an inlet on the Siberian coast in the Kara Sea. It is located in the Gyda Peninsula and it is roughly 45 km long and 30 km wide at its widest point. Lat 71° 50’ N, long 77° 45’ E. Geography This round and regular-shaped bay lies east of the Khalmyer Bay, between the large estuaries of the Ob (Gulf of Ob) and the Yenisei River. Off the northern end of the Oleni Peninsula limiting the bay on the east lies Oleni Island. The peninsula formed between this bay and neighboring Khalmyer Bay is known as the Mamonta Peninsula (Poluostrov Mamonta). The Yuratski Bay is surrounded by low tundra coast and there are numerous river mouths on its shores, the main ones being the Yunyakha and the Yesyayakha. Kara Sea
The Kara Sea (russian: Ка́рское мо́ре, ''Karskoye more'') is a marginal sea, separated from the Barents Sea to the west by the Kara Strait and Novaya Zemlya, and from the Laptev Sea to the east by the Severnaya Zemlya archipelago. Ultimately the Kara, Barents and Laptev Seas are all extensions of the Arctic Ocean north of Siberia. The Kara Sea's northern limit is marked geographically by a line running from Cape Kohlsaat in Graham Bell Island, Franz Josef Land, to Cape Molotov (Arctic Cape), the northernmost point of Komsomolets Island in Severnaya Zemlya. The Kara Sea is roughly long and wide with an area of around and a mean depth of . Oleni Peninsula
Oleni ( el, Ωλένη) is a village and a former Communities and Municipalities of Greece, municipality in Elis (regional unit), Elis, West Greece, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Pyrgos, Elis, Pyrgos, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 152.231 km2. The seat of the municipality was in Karatoula, Elis, Karatoula. The municipal unit was named after the ruined medieval town Olena, which also gave its name to the Bishopric of Olena. It consists of a wide valley around Karatoula and Magoula, Elis, Magoula, and the hills west and east of the valley. Oleni Island
Oleny Island (also spelt as Oleniy and Oleni) (russian: Остров Олений) is a single island in the Kara Sea just a few kilometers offshore, north of the coast of one of the arms of the Gyda Peninsula in North Siberia. It is covered with tundra and swamps and it is 53 km in length and its average width is 27 km, having an area of 1197 km². Its latitude is 72° 24' N and the longitude 77° 45' E. The sea surrounding Oleny Island is covered with pack ice in the winter and there are numerous ice floes even in the summer, so that it is often merged with the Gydan Peninsula in the Siberian mainland, from which is separated by a narrow, only 2 km wide, strait. The Yenisey Gulf (russian: Енисейский залив, ''Yeniseysky zaliv'') is a large and long estuary through which the lower Yenisey flows into the Kara Sea. The Yenisey Gulf and its islands belong to the Krasnoyarsk Krai administrative division of the Russian Federation and is part of the Great Arctic State Nature Reserve, the largest nature reserve of Russia.
