Josef Odložil Memorial
The Josef Odložil Memorial ( cs, Memoriál Josefa Odložila) is an annual track and field meeting which takes place in June at Stadion Juliska (until 2001 at Stadion Evžena Rošického) in Prague, Czech Republic. The competition was first held in 1994 as a race over 2000 m in memory of Czech middle-distance runner Josef Odložil – a silver medallist over 1500 metres at the 1964 Summer Olympics, who died in 1993. The programme expanded to a wider selection of track and field events the following year. The meet grew in stature, attracting a number of top-class international competitors, and by 2004 it had gained IAAF Grand Prix status and was broadcast on television by Eurosport. In 2011, it was selected as an "Outdoor Premium Meeting" by the European Athletics Association. Aleksandra Fedoriva
Aleksandra Andreyevna Fedoriva (russian: Александра Андреевна Федорива) (born 13 September 1988 in Moscow) is a Russian track and field athlete who competes mainly in sprinting events. Fedoriva began her career as a hurdles specialist. She was a semi-finalist in the 100 metres hurdles at the 2005 World Youth Championships in Athletics, took fourth at the 2006 World Junior Championships in Athletics, then won the gold medal in the event at the 2007 European Athletics Junior Championships the following year. In 2007, she ran a Russian junior record in the 60 metres hurdles, completing the distance in 8.22 seconds. Systematic doping of Russian athletes has resulted in 48 Olympic medals stripped from Russia (and Russian associated teams), four times the number of the next highest, and more than 30% of the global total.
