Yulia Malinovsky
Yulia Malinovsky (, russian: Юлия Малиновская, ''Yuliya Malinovskaya''; born 5 September 1975) is an Israeli politician and lawyer. She is currently a member of the Knesset for Yisrael Beiteinu. Biography Malinovsky was born in Voroshilovgrad in the Ukrainian SSR of the Soviet Union (today Luhansk in Ukraine). Her mother, Sophia, is Jewish, and her father, Vladimir, was of Russian, Greek and Armenian descent. She studied law at the Luhansk branch of the East Ukrainian Volodymyr Dahl National University, gaining a BA. She served in a local police force as a manpower officer. Malinovsky immigrated to Israel from Ukraine in 1998. Her younger sister had immigrated before her with NAALE in 1997, and the rest of her immediate family joined her in Israel later. She was elected to Holon City Council on the Yisrael Beiteinu list in 2003, and was placed eighteenth on the party's list for the 2009 Knesset elections. However, the party won only 15 seats. Luhansk
Luhansk (, ; uk, Луганськ, ), also known as Lugansk (, ; russian: Луганск, ), is a city in what is internationally recognised as Ukraine, although it is administered by Russia as capital of the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR). As of 2021, the population was estimated to be 399,559, making Luhansk the most populous city in the region and the 12th largest in Ukraine. In 2001, nearly half of the population was ethnically Ukrainian, and 47% was ethnically Russian. Luhansk has been the capital and administrative center of Luhansk Oblast, although the Ukrainian administration was relocated to Sievierodonetsk when the War in Donbas broke out following the establishment of LPR. Avigdor Lieberman (, ; russian: Эве́т Льво́вич Ли́берман, Evet Lvovich Liberman, ; born 5 June 1958) is a Soviet-born Israeli politician serving as Minister of Finance since 2021, having previously served twice as Deputy Prime Minister of Israel from 2006 to 2008 and 2009 to 2012.
