Yuhan University
Yuhan University is a private college in Sosa-gu, Bucheon City, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. The current president is Kwon-Hyun Lee. It offers technical training in a variety of fields. The college's academic offerings are divided under five general divisions: Mechanical Engineering Division, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Division, Design Division, Computer and Management Division, and Social Affairs Division. History Ground was broken for "Yuhan Technical Junior College" in late 1977, and classes began the following year. The first president was Chong Ryul Sohn. In 1979 it became Yuhan Technical College. In 1998 the current English name "Yuhan College" was adopted. The Korean name "Yuhan Daehakgyo" was adopted in 2011. Bucheon () is a administrative divisions of South Korea, city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. Bucheon is located away from Seoul, of which it is a satellite town, satellite city. It is located between Incheon and Seoul. Ilhan New (유일한 柳一韓, January 15, 1895March 11, 1971) was a Korean independence activist and entrepreneur. He founded La Choy Food Products, Inc. and Yuhan Co, Ltd. His original Korean name was Ilhyeong New. Early life New was born in 1895 in Pyongyang among nine brothers and sisters, and emigrated to the United States at the age of 9. In America he gained a degree from the University of Michigan and founded La Choy Foods in 1922.
