Yuga (2007 Film)
''Yuga'' is a 2007 Indian Kannada-language action drama film directed by Chandra and starring Duniya Vijay and Kavya in her film debut. This film was Vijay's first release after the success of '' Duniya'' (2007) and was a box office failure despite initially releasing to houseful theatres and running for fifty days. His next film '' Chanda'' (2007) released weeks after this film. Duniya Vijay
B R Vijay Kumar, who is professionally known as Duniya Vijay and Duniya Viji, is an Indian actor who appears in Kannada films. He began his career playing small roles until he got his big break in '' Duniya'' (2007). He is noted for his performances in ''Chanda'' (2007), ''Junglee'' (2009), ''Johny Mera Naam Preethi Mera Kaam'' (2011) and '' Jayammana Maga'' (2013). Career Vijay began his carreer in films with a role in Yograj Bhat's ''Ranga SSLC'' with Sudeep. He then appeared in '' Jogi'', ''Shree'' and ''Ee Rajeev Gandhi Alla'', and also accepted roles in television. ''Duniya'' ( 'World') is a 2007 Indian Kannada-language film written and directed by Soori. It was successful with both critics and audience. Plot Shivlingu a.k.a. Shivu, an innocent villager who works as a manual laborer in stone quarry realizes that his mother is seriously ill. He gets his mother to Bangalore for treatment, but his mother dies and he is unable to arrange finances for her funeral. He manages to pay with the only ornament he had in order to carry out the funeral of his mother. With his inability to procure a tomb-stone for his mother's grave, Shivu leaves the city walking without any money, devastated. While on his way he comes across a girl (Purnima) who is kidnapped and the abductors try to rape her. Shivu saves her and gets her to the orphanage where she is staying. Kailash Kher (born 7 July 1973) is an Indian music composer and singer. He sings songs with a music style influenced by Indian folk music and Sufi music.
