Yuet-ching Lee () (1918 – 1997) was a Chinese actress from Hong Kong. Lee is credited with over 300 films. Career In 1937, Lee began acting in Hong Kong. Lee's early films include ''Producing Citizens'', a 1937 film directed by Lee Fa, and ''A Mother's Tears'', a 1938 film directed by Chiu Shu-San. In 1941, Lee co-starred with Lee Sun-fung for the first time in ''The Metropolis''. Lee was in ''Three Heroes'', a 1941 film directed by Lee Sun-fung, who is also her husband. From 1942 to 1946, Lee was not active in the film industry. In 1960, Lee was in '' The Orphan'', the notable last film Bruce Lee acted before he left Hong Kong. By 1969, Lee was credited with over 300 films in Hong Kong. Lee also acted in films directed by her husband. The Orphan (film)
''The Orphan'' is a 1960 Hong Kong drama film directed by Lee Sun-Fung and starring a then eighteen-year-old Bruce Lee. The film is based on the novel of the same Chinese title by Au-yeung Tin. ''The Orphan'' was filmed in the early months of 1959 and was the last film that Lee made in Hong Kong during his teenager years before leaving to the United States in 1959. Philip Chan (actor)
Philip Chan Yan-kin (born 25 January 1945) is a Hong Kong actor, film director, producer, screenwriter and music composer of Taishan area origin. Career He worked as a Royal Hong Kong Police Force police inspector before entering the entertainment industry. His most memorable moment as a police inspector was during a press conference he held with members of Hong Kong's press at the scene of the 1974 Po Sang Bank robbery, which was one of the biggest bank robbery cases up until then in Hong Kong history. Guangzhouwan
The Leased Territory of Guangzhouwan, officially the , was a territory on the coast of Zhanjiang in China leased to France and administered by French Indochina. The capital of the territory was Fort-Bayard, present-day Zhanjiang. The Japanese occupied the territory in February 1943. In 1945, following the surrender of Japan, France formally relinquished Guangzhouwan to China. The territory did not experience the rapid growth in population that other parts of coastal China experienced, rising from 189,000 in the early 20th century to just 209,000 in 1935.
