Ysleta Independent School District
Ysleta Independent School District is a school district based in El Paso, Texas (USA). Ysleta ISD is the third largest school district in the city of El Paso. All of the district area covers sections of El Paso. The Ysleta Independent School District was founded in 1915 as a rural education district with one high school, Ysleta High School and a number of elementary and intermediate schools. As the city of El Paso grew, many of the schools of the YISD were absorbed into the city. Today the district has 59 campuses. During the 1990s, the district operated at state minimum achievement levels. Due to changes in leadership, the district turned itself around and in 1998 it emerged the first urban school district anywhere in the state to be named a "Recognized District" for student performance on the Texas Assessment of Academic Skills test or TAAS. Ten district schools have been named National Blue Ribbon Schools while eight others are National Title One Distinguished Campuses. ...

Del Valle High School (El Paso, Texas)
Del Valle High is a public high school located on the southeast side of El Paso, Texas. DV, as it is commonly called, is part of the Ysleta Independent School District, serving 2,000 students in grades 9 to 12. At the start of the 2022 academic year, Ivan Cedillo was appointed principal of Del Valle High School. The TEA association classifies Del Valle as a "recognized school" as of 2011. In 2013, The Texas UIL changed the area schools from 4A to 5A and 5A to 6A division. As of 2014, Del Valle High School is in the UIL 2-5A division. Del Valle has had much success with its athletic programs. The Boys Varsity Soccer team have won two Texas State Championships led by Coach Bruce A. Reichman. Valle Verde Early College High School is a high school located in El Paso, Texas. Students graduate from high school with both a high school diploma and an associate degree from El Paso Community College. As an early college high school, VVECHS is a school that boasts students of a high academic rigor, who are chosen to be best suited for the task of taking high school and college courses in tandem. History Valle Verde Early College High School opened on August 27, 2007. 125 students were accepted the first year with five teachers on staff. Eastwood High School is a public high school in the Ysleta Independent School District the city of El Paso, Texas, United States.
