Ysgol Y Preseli
Ysgol Bro Preseli is a Wales, Welsh 3-18 school in the village of Crymych, Pembrokeshire, Wales. History Prior to the school's opening, pupils from the villages in the north of the county that passed the eleven-plus exam attended schools in either Narberth, Pembrokeshire, Narberth or Cardigan, Ceredigion, Cardigan. Pembrokeshire County Council, 1889–1974, Pembrokeshire County Council took the decision to build a new school for these pupils, and the school was opened in autumn 1958. Ysgol Y Preseli was declared an official bilingual school on 1 September 1991. Before this time it was called "Ysgol Gyfun Ddwyieithog y Preseli" (Preseli bilingual comprehensive school). Welsh ( or ) is a Celtic language of the Brittonic subgroup that is native to the Welsh people. Brian Williams (rugby Union)
Brian Richard Williams (9 July 1960 - 7 February 2007) was a Welsh international rugby union player. Life and career Williams was born in Penffordd, near Maenclochog in Pembrokeshire, into the West Wales farming community. He began playing rugby at Ysgol y Preseli, Narberth RFC and Pembrokeshire RFC, with his brothers John and Anthony. His nephew Andrew is currently a rising star at scrum-half in Narberth's youth set-up, and side player for Wales Under 21 side. Williams was spotted and signed for Neath RFC. During a single major club career which spanned 16 years, Williams played for the club more than 250 times. He made his debut as a first-class player in 1983, against Bridgend RFC, and went on to become one of the club's most popular players. Stephen Lorenzo Varney (born 16 May 2001) is a Welsh-born Italian professional rugby union player who primarily plays scrum-half for Gloucester of the English Premiership. Joseph Michael Allen (born 14 March 1990) is a Welsh professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for EFL Championship club Swansea City. Estyn is the education and training inspectorate for Wales. Its name comes from the Welsh language verb ''estyn'' meaning "to reach (out), stretch or extend". Crymych
Crymych () is a village of around 800 inhabitants and a community (population 1,739) in the northeast of Pembrokeshire, Wales. It is situated approximately above sea level at the eastern end of the Preseli Mountains, on the old Tenby to Cardigan turnpike road, now the A478. The village developed around the former Crymmych Arms railway station on the now-closed Whitland to Cardigan Railway, nicknamed ''Cardi Bach'' (Little Cardi). Crymych, which is twinned with Plomelin in Brittany, has an elected community council. National Professional Qualification For Headship
The National Professional Qualification for Headship (or NPQH) is a professional qualification for aspiring headteachers. The qualification was introduced in 1997 by the newly elected Labour government, following a commitment in their manifesto to introduce a mandatory qualification for head teachers. Initially voluntary, the first group of people were awarded the qualification in July 1998. The legal requirement and qualification became mandatory on 1 April 2004. Until 8 February 2012, holding the NPQH was a mandatory requirement for all newly appointed English and Welsh school head teachers. It is taught via blended learning at centres all over the country, and administered by the National College for Teaching and Leadership which has centres in Manchester, Nottingham, London, and Ruddington.
