Ysabelle Lacamp (7 November 1954 – 26 June 2023) was a French novelist, singer and actress. Biography Early life and education Ysabelle Lacamp was born in Neuilly-sur-Seine on 7 November 1954. She was the daughter of French journalist and writer Max Olivier-Lacamp ( prix Renaudot 1969) and Pyong-You Hyun of Korean origin. Lacamp received a degree in Chinese and Korean from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London and in Oriental languages from Paris. Career Lacamp started as an actress in 1975, first appearing in the cinema in the second part of the film ''Emmanuelle''. She played notably in 1983 in '' Le Marginal'' by Jacques Deray with Jean-Paul Belmondo and ''Le Joli Cœur'' with Francis Perrin. Marie Durand
Marie Durand (1711–1776), was a French Protestant. She was famously imprisoned in the Tour de Constance (Aigues-Mortes) from 25 August 1730 for attending a Huguenot assembly with her mother, or perhaps because her brother, Pierre Durand, was a well-known preacher, or perhaps because of her marriage. Early life Marie was born to Etienne and Claudine Durand from the hamlet of Le Bouchet near Privas in France. Her older brother Pierre became well known as a Huguenot preacher and pastor. Her father Etienne who was consular registrar of the parish was arrested in February, 1729. He was jailed in Brescou at the fort where he was interned for fourteen years. Marie married a much older man who was at least in his forties, Mathieu Serres, later that same year. Claude Berri (; 1 July 1934 – 12 January 2009) was a French film director, writer, producer, actor and distributor. Early life Born Claude Beri Langmann in Paris, Berri was the son of Jewish immigrant parents. His mother, Beila (née Bercu), was from Romania, and his father, Hirsch Langmann, was a furrier from Poland. His sister was the screenwriter and editor Arlette Langmann. Career Berri won the "Best Film" BAFTA for '' Jean de Florette'', and was also nominated for twelve César Awards, though he never won. Jean-Daniel Pollet (; 1936–2004) was a French film director and screenwriter who was most active in the 1960s and 1970s. He was associated with two approaches to filmmaking: comedies which blended burlesque and melancholic elements, and poetic films based on texts by writers such as the French poet Francis Ponge. Career Pollet was born on 20 June 1936 in La Madeleine, Nord, in France.
