Youth Action (Croatia)
Youth Action ( hr, Akcija mladih or AM) is a Liberalism, liberal political party in Croatia founded in 2005 in Lovran. The party endorses Progressivism, progressive values and mostly advocates greater youth rights. The party has been active in the area of almost all of Croatia through its branches in almost every bigger city in the country. Youth Action regularly criticizes the Croatian Democratic Union, HDZ/Social Democratic Party of Croatia, SDP two-party duopoly. In 2009, Youth Action merged with the Croatian Youth Party ( hr, Hrvatska stranka mladih, HSM). Zadar County ( hr, Zadarska županija ) is a county in Croatia, it encompasses northern Dalmatia and southeastern Lika. Its seat is the city of Zadar. Party of Ivan Pernar ( Croatian: ''Stranka Ivana Pernara'' or SIP) is a political party in Croatia, formed on 7 July 2019 by former members of the political party Human Shield. It is named after its leader, Ivan Pernar. Foundation Pernar was elected as the party's President during the party's inaugural conference in the village of Kašina by receiving 148 votes from party delegates. Branimir Bunjac received 57 votes and was elected as the party's Vice President. During the conference, eight different names were proposed for the party, which chose to name itself after its leader with a three-quarters supermajority. 2020 Croatian Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Croatia on 5 July 2020. They were the tenth parliamentary elections since the first multi-party elections in 1990 and elected the 151 members of the Croatian Parliament. 140 Members of Parliament were elected from geographical electoral districts in Croatia, three MPs were chosen by the Croatian diaspora and eight MPs came from the ranks of citizens registered as belonging to any of the 22 constitutionally recognized national minorities. Croatian Democratic Peasant Party
The Croatian Democratic Peasant Party ( or HDSS) is a minor agrarian-conservative political party in Croatia. The party was led by Ivo Lončar, a popular television news reporter who was elected as a member of the 2000-2003 Parliament from the Croatian Peasant Party list; he subsequently left the party and became an independent deputy. Parliamentary elections were held in Croatia on 11 September 2016, with all 151 seats in the Croatian Parliament up for election. The elections were preceded by a successful motion of no confidence against Prime Minister Tihomir Orešković and his cabinet on 16 June 2016, with 125 MPs voting in favour of the proposal. Human Shield (political Party)
The Key of Croatia ( hr, Ključ Hrvatske) is a populist political party in Croatia, formed out of an anti-eviction group of the same name. The party changed its name on 21 May 2022 from its then name Human Shield the group opposes foreclosures by occupying property and forming a " human shield", hence the name. The party was founded on 2 June 2011. The party grew out of the organization that operated until 2014 as the Alliance for Change ( hr, Savez za promjene).
