Shaudi Wang
Wang Shaudi () is a Taiwanese director, writer and film producer who has been involved in making such production as '' Life Plan A and B'', ''1000 Walls in Dream'' and '' Tropical Fish''. She has won multiple awards for her work including one for Best Screenplay at the Golden Horse Film Festival and one for Best Film at the Taipei Film Festival. Shiang-chyi Chen
Chen Shiang-chyi (; born 27 November 1969) is a Taiwanese actress. She has appeared in most of Tsai Ming-liang's feature films. Career When she was studying at the Taipei National University of the Arts, Chen was spotted by Edward Yang when he walked by her acting class. She then appeared in two of Yang's films. After her performance in ''A Confucian Confusion'', which was premiered in the competition section of the 1994 Cannes Film Festival, she decided to go to New York City to study performing arts. She graduated from the Educational Theatre master's program in the Department of Music and Performing Arts Professions at New York University. A comedy film is a category of film which emphasizes humor. These films are designed to make the audience laugh through amusement. Pai Hsueh-hua (born 17 May 1955), born Pai Yueh-o, better known by her stage name Pai Bing-bing (also spelled Pai Ping-ping), is a Taiwanese singer, actress, media personality and social activist. This is a list of submissions to the 70th Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film. The Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film was created in 1956 by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to honour non-English-speaking films produced outside the United States. The award is handed out annually, and is accepted by the winning film's director, although it is considered an award for the submitting country as a whole.
