Tigerville is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Greenville County, South Carolina, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census the population was 1,312. It lies north of Taylors, northeast of Travelers Rest, and northwest of Greer. North Greenville University, a private institution of higher education affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, and whose baseball team won the national NCAA Division II baseball tournament in 2022, is located in Tigerville. North Greenville University
North Greenville University is a private Baptist university in Tigerville, South Carolina. It is affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention (Southern Baptist Convention). It is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The institution awards bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. History NGU was founded in 1892 and named North Greenville High School, the first high school in the northern portion of Greenville County. Land for the school was donated by Benjamin F. Neves. It was operated by the North Greenville Baptist Association, and was set up to expand educational offerings in the mountainous northern portion of Greenville County. The school received a state charter in 1904. It was taken over by the Southern Baptist Convention's Home Mission Board a year later, and renamed North Greenville Baptist Academy in 1915. Reeves Field
Reeves Field, also known as Reeves Stadium is a football stadium located on the campus of Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, United States. It was named in honor of local banker John T. Reeves, whose heirs donated land for the complex. Constructed in 1925, Reeves Field is one of the oldest sports venues in Pennsylvania. The current seating capacity is 5,500. The stadium hosts the Geneva College Golden Tornadoes and the local high school football team, the Beaver Falls Tigers.
