Younion
Younion is a trade union representing municipal workers, and workers in the media and arts, in Austria. The union was founded in 2009, when the Union of Municipal Employees merged with the Union of Artists, Media Workers and Freelance Workers. It was originally named the Union of Municipal Employees, Art, Media, Sport and Freelance Workers, but shortened its name in 2015. The Union of Municipal Employees (german: Gewerkschaft der Gemeindebediensteten, GdG) was a trade union representing local authority workers in Austria. The Union of Artists, Media Workers and Freelance Workers (german: Gewerkschaft für Kunst, Medien, Sport und freie Berufe, KMSfB) was a trade union representing Austrian workers in a variety of industries. Trade Unions In Austria
Human rights in Austria are generally respected by the government; however, there were problems in some areas. There were some reports of police abuse and use of unjustified force against prisoners. Antisemitic incidents, including physical attacks, name-calling, property damage, and threatening letters, telephone calls, and Internet postings occurred during the year. Trade involves the transfer of goods and services from one person or entity to another, often in exchange for money. Economists refer to a system or network that allows trade as a market. An early form of trade, barter, saw the direct exchange of goods and services for other goods and services, i.e. trading things without the use of money.
