''Youngblood'' is the third studio album by Australian pop rock band 5 Seconds of Summer. The album was initially set to be released on 22 June 2018, but was later brought forward to 15 June. Four singles were released in support of the album: " Want You Back", " Youngblood", " Valentine" and "Lie to Me". The album was released to positive reviews, with critics praising the lyrical maturity and the sound change from their previous work. In support of the album, the band embarked on the Meet You There Tour. Sydney Youngblood
Sydney Ford (born December 2, 1960), better known as Sydney Youngblood, is an American-German singer, actor and composer, who had several successful dance hits during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Early life Ford was born in Texas in December 1960. From an early age he loved singing. He won a competition aged six in his hometown where his grandmother called him ‘youngblood’ for his ‘vibrancy’ to perform. He played in a number of bands but at age twenty, he was drafted into the US army and served in Germany for five years. Ford returned home and returned to music straight away, only this time seeking fame and fortune as a solo artist. Signed to Virgin Records, his first release was a cover of Bill Withers' "Ain't No Sunshine", which made a short appearance in the lower section of the UK Singles Chart in 1988. The Youngbloods
The Youngbloods were an American rock band consisting of Jesse Colin Young (vocals, bass, guitar), Jerry Corbitt (vocals, guitar, keyboards, harmonica), Lowell "Banana" Levinger (guitar and electric piano), and Joe Bauer (drums). Despite receiving critical acclaim, they never achieved widespread popularity. Their only U.S. Top 40 entry was Chet Powers' " Get Together". They are often remembered as a one-hit wonder. Thomas Youngblood (born May 29, 1974) is an American metal guitarist, songwriter, and founding member of power metal band Kamelot. Early life At the age of 12, after the death of his father, Youngblood moved from Virginia to Florida where he started learning to play guitar at age 15. Shortly after his move he began playing in his first band with school mates from the neighborhood. Through this he met drummer Richard Warner, and they decided to start a band together. Career Kamelot was founded in Tampa, Florida by Youngblood and Richard Warner in 1991. They signed their first contract in 1994 with German label Noise Records. ''The Youngbloods'' is the debut self-titled studio album by the American rock band The Youngbloods, released in 1967. It was also reissued in 1971 under the title ''Get Together'' after the popular single from the album. The album peaked at number 131 on the ''Billboard'' 200 although two years later the single " Get Together" reached number five and sold more than a million copies. The Youngblood Brass Band is an American brass band from Madison, Wisconsin that was established in 1998. The band has released six albums and has toured throughout the United States and Europe. History The band came together in 1995 as the One Lard Biskit Brass Band, subsequently releasing the album ''Better Recognize'' locally. ''Youngbloods'' is the second studio album by Australian metalcore band the Amity Affliction. It was released on 18 June 2010 through Boomtown Records. It debuted at number 6 on the ARIA Charts. Grammy-nominated producer Machine produced ''Youngbloods''. The drums were recorded at Breakwater Music Studio in Hazlet, NJ. All other tracks were recorded at the Machine Shop in Weehawken, NJ. This is the first and the only record to feature guitarist Clint Owen Ellis (Splattering), where Troy Brady temporarily switched to rhythm guitar for Ellis to take the lead.
