Garth Youngberg
Ivan Garth Youngberg was the founder and director of the Institute for Alternative Agriculture. Life and work He graduated from the University of Illinois with a PhD in Political Science in 1971. He taught at Southwest Missouri State University, where he was chairman of the Political Science department until 1981. He was a member of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Study Team for Organic Farming, and Organic Resources Coordinator, for the USDA. He lost his job during the Ronald Reagan administration transition. He was a specialist with the Maryland Environmental Service. He supported the Organic Farming Research Foundation. Jordan Youngberg (born 1990/1991) is an American politician and businessman who represented District 8 in the South Dakota Senate from 2017 to 2020. In June 2020, Youngberg resigned from the Senate to work for the South Dakota State Treasurer. Early life and education Youngberg was born in Dell Rapids, South Dakota and attended South Dakota State University. Career Jordan Youngberg, a Republican, ran against Democratic incumbent State Senate member Scott Parsley, defeating him in the general election by a vote of 5869 to 5775. Renae Youngberg
Renae Audrey Youngberg [''Ray''] (April 3, 1933 – January 10, 2015) was a third basewoman who played in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League during four seasons spanning 1949–1954. She batted and threw right-handed. Early life Born in Waukegan, Illinois, Renae Youngberg grew up in the years before Little League Baseball allowed girls to play, and she had to play sandlot ball with the neighborhood kids. Youngberg attended Waukegan High School, Waukegan Township High School. There no were no sports available there for girls, but she was actively involved in intramural sports, playing basketball, field hockey, volleyball, and softball. Outside of school, she played industrial league basketball, bowling, and independent softball and baseball. Following her graduation, she earned a scholarship to attend Illinois State University, Illinois State Normal University. Youngberg is a populated place situated in Pinal County, Arizona, United States. History Originally called Goldfield due to the nearby gold mines, The Goldfield Post Office was established on October 7, 1893, with James L Patterson as its first Postmaster.Granger, Byrd H., Arizona's Names (X Marks the Place). Tucson: The Falconer Publishing Company, 1983. p. 692 This was the same year that George U. Young arrived. After his arrival, the community also became known as Youngsberg. After a mining accident at his Goldfield mining operation, Young experienced a severe decline in his health, starting from about 1920 on, and in late 1925 he was rendered an invalid. He died from apparent apoplexy on November 26, 1926, at his vacation home near the Derby Mine.
