Young Socialists (Croatia)
The Young Socialists of Croatia ( hr, Mladi Socijalisti Hrvatske) is a socialist youth organization of the Socialist Labour Party of Croatia ( Croatian: ''Socijalistička radnička partija Hrvatske'' or SRP). Program The Young Socialists are in favor of abolishing capitalism and establishing workers' self-management and socialism in Croatia and demanding that it leave the European Union and NATO. The Young Socialists oppose discrimination, descrube themselves as feminists and support pride parades throughout Croatia. Organisation The members of the organisation are between 15 and 35 years of age. The Young Socialists of Croatia is chaired by a three-member executive committee, elected at the assembly with a term of office of 2 years, and an elected member sits in the SRP presidency. The Movement of the Young Socialists (french: Mouvement des Jeunes Socialistes, MJS) or simply ''Jeunes Socialistes'' is the youth organisation of the Socialist Party of France. MJS was founded in 1993 as a formally independent youth organisation. However, its statutes commit the MJS to be generally supportive of its mother party. After a peak of around 10,000 members after the 2006 youth protests in France, MJS had 5321 members in November 2009. MJS is member of the Young European Socialists (YES, formerly ECOSY) and International Union of Socialist Youth (IUSY). Working Group of Young Socialists in the SPD (german: Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Jungsozialistinnen und Jungsozialisten in der SPD, Jusos) is a volunteer youth organization of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD). As of 2021, there are over 70,000 official Juso members. Membership Every member of the SPD who is aged between 14 and 35 years old is automatically enrolled in the Jusos. Since 1994, people in that age group have been able to become a Juso member without party membership. Until 2011 membership was free, but ended after a two 2-year period. There is now a membership fee of €1 per month. It is only possible to be a member of the Jusos until you reach your 35th birthday. The Young Socialists in the PvdA ( nl, Jonge Socialisten in de PvdA, JS) is a Dutch social-democratic youth organisation. The JS is a politically independent organisation, but is affiliated with the Labour Party (PvdA). Members must be between 12 and 28 years old. Members are not required to be a member of the Labour Party. JS used to be a democratic socialist organisation that promotes the full participation of young people in society. Since 2007 however, the JS has adapted social democracy as their ideology, calling for "a peaceful and just world with happy and committed people." The Young Socialists ( sv, Ungsocialisterna) was the name of the anarchist and socialist organization that can be said to be responsible for the break, which took place in 1908, between Swedish anarchism and social democracy. It was, among other things, these Young Socialists who took care of the magazine ''Brand''. Workers Revolutionary Party (UK)
The Workers Revolutionary Party is a Trotskyism, Trotskyist group in Britain once led by Gerry Healy. In the mid-1980s, it split into several smaller groups, one of which retains possession of the name. The Club The WRP grew out of the faction Gerry Healy and John Lawrence (political activist), John Lawrence led in the Revolutionary Communist Party (UK, 1944), Revolutionary Communist Party which urged that the RCP pursue Entryism, entryist tactics in the Labour Party (UK), Labour Party. This policy was also urged on the RCP by the leadership of the Fourth International. When the majority in the RCP rejected the policy in 1947, Healy's faction was granted the right to split from the RCP and work within the Labour Party as a separate body known internally as The Club.
