Young Egypt Party (1933)
The Young Egypt Party ( ar, حزب مصر الفتاة, ''Misr El-Fatah'') also known as the ''Green Shirts'' was an Egyptian nationalist political party. It is notable for counting a young Gamal Abdel Nasser and Anwar Sadat as members. History The party was formed 12 October 1933 as a nationalist party with "religious elements" by its leader Ahmed Hussein. Its aim was to encourage Union consisting of Egypt and Sudan—that would ally with other Arab and Muslim countries It derives its name from the Young Italy party, which appeared in Italy at the end of the nineteenth century, and contributed to the unification of that country. It is stated that the very high popularity of the party was the inspiration for the emergence of movements like Green Shirts which was different as opinions think it was a militaristic organization as its young members were organized in a paramilitary movement. Mustafa El-Nahas Pasha
Mostafa el-Nahhas Pasha or Mostafa Nahas ( ar, مصطفى النحاس باشا; June 15, 1879 – August 23, 1965) was an Egyptian politician who served as the Prime Minister for five terms. Early life, education and exile He was born in Samanud ( Gharbiyya) where his father was a lumber merchant. He graduated from el-Nassereyya Elementary School in Cairo in 1891. He also graduated from the Khedivial Secondary School in 1896. After earning his license from the Khedivial Law School in 1900, he worked in Mohammad Farid's law office before opening his own practice in Mansoura. In 1904 he became a judge in the Tanta National Court. He was dismissed from the bench in 1919 when he joined the Wafd as a representative of the Egyptian National Party. The Wafd Party (; ar, حزب الوفد, ''Ḥizb al-Wafd'') was a nationalist liberal political party in Egypt. It was said to be Egypt's most popular and influential political party for a period from the end of World War I through the 1930s. Anglo-Egyptian Sudan ( ar, السودان الإنجليزي المصري ') was a condominium of the United Kingdom and Egypt in the Sudans region of northern Africa between 1899 and 1956, corresponding mostly to the territory of present-day Sudan and South Sudan. Ahmed Hussein (1905–1982)
Ahmed Hussein (1905–1982) was an Egyptian lawyer and politician who founded a nationalist party, Young Egypt, in the 1930s. Early life and education Hussein was born in 1905. He received religious education and a degree in law.
