''Young Charioteers'' () is a 2015 Hong Kong modern, romance, sports drama produced by TVB, starring Him Law, Sisley Choi, Sammy Sum and Michelle Yim as the main leads. Filmed on location in Hong Kong and Taiwan, the series began airing on March 2, 2015 and is broadcast weekly from Monday to Friday on TVB Jade channel 8:30-9:30 pm timeslot. Synopsis Former friends Jedi Yau (Him Law) and Fighting Yip (Sammy Sum) are rivals at work, love and bicycle racing. Jedi and Fighting became friends in high school because of their shared interest in bicycle racing, but lost touch when Fighting had to return to Taiwan for family issues. The two meet again when Fighting becomes Jedi's new colleague at CHUR accounting firm, however Fighting doesn't want to resume his past friendship with Jedi. Him Law Tze-yat (born Law Chung-him on 28 August 1984) is a Hong Kong actor currently contracted to TVB. Law began his acting career by starring as supporting characters in several well-known films, most notably in '' Mob Sister'' (2005), which was also Law's debut film. He later began filming for several internet and television dramas, later receiving a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the TVB Anniversary Awards in 2008 for his performance in the sports drama '' Your Class or Mine''. Early life Law was born to a simple Hakka family in the New Territories. As his parents were divorced when he was young, he was brought up by his uncle who did not have any children. Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) is a television broadcasting company based in Hong Kong SAR. The Company operates five free-to-air terrestrial television channels in Hong Kong, with TVB Jade as its main Cantonese language service, and TVB Pearl as its main English service. The TVB Anniversary Awards (), officially known as the TVB Awards Presentation, is an annual awards ceremony honoring TVB's programming achievements in Hong Kong television; despite claims that it is the region's equivalent to the American Emmy and the Australian Logie, no other networks are allowed to enter their programmes into TVB competition, and it is awarded solely to TVB programming. Winners are awarded a copy of the golden TVB anniversary statuette, which depicts a man and a woman holding up TVB's square logo. The TVB Anniversary Awards are only one of three (four, including Asian Television Awards) TVB awards given out.
