Young Buckethead Vol. 1
Young Buckethead Vol. 1 is the second DVD made by the guitarist Buckethead, released in 2006 by Jas Obrecht's label, Avabella. The material from this DVD was cut in half making 2 volumes of the DVD, Vol. 1 consists of a recompilation of concerts made by Buckethead and the band Deli Creeps, in which Buckethead is part of, just as Buckethead and the Deli Creeps were beginning to play outside of their southern California hometown. Vol. 1 features a 1990 Deli Creeps concert and the soundcheck in San Francisco, also a keyboard performance in a San Francisco basement, and an extended guitar solo performed by Buckethead at a family reunion. Brian Patrick Carroll (born May 13, 1969), known professionally as Buckethead, is an American guitarist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. He has received critical acclaim for his innovative electric guitar playing. His music spans several genres, including progressive metal, funk, blues, bluegrass, ambient, and avant-garde music. Instrumental Rock
Instrumental rock is rock music that emphasizes musical instruments and features very little or no singing. Deli Creeps
The Deli Creeps were an Avant-garde music, avant-garde band consisting of singer Maximum Bob (singer), Maximum Bob, guitarist Buckethead, drummer Pinchface and various bass players, most recently Dan Monti, Daniel Monti. Though Buckethead is the only member who makes a consistent effort to hide his identity, little is known about the other members of the band. Deli Creeps have never released an official album, but many of their songs have been repurposed for Buckhead's solo albums. Biography The Deli Creeps formed in the late 1980s/early 1990s in Claremont, California, Claremont, Southern California, United States, but shortly after moved to San Francisco. Giant Robot (Buckethead Album)
''Giant Robot'' is the second studio album by avant-garde guitarist Buckethead (not to be confused with the 1996 ''Giant Robot'', also featuring Buckethead) and loosely following the same "amusement park" concept as his previous album ''( Bucketheadland)''. It has some re-recorded songs from Buckethead's band Deli Creeps, as well his earlier demo tape ''Bucketheadland Blueprints''. ''Giant Robot'' has a more professional sound than its predecessor in terms of recording and production value; the re-recorded tracks have lost their initial "basement" or "video game" sounding beats and guitar licks. As with ''Bucketheadland'', the album was originally only released in Japan. Maximum Bob (singer)
Robert Barnum, better known under his stage name Maximum Bob, is an American musician known for his work as the lead singer and founding member of rock band Deli Creeps and for his singing on various releases related to avant-garde guitarist Buckethead. He is now the lead singer in Maximum Bob's Stockyard Skinners. Music career Maximum Bob and his friend, guitarist Buckethead started a musical collaboration in 1987 that would eventually take the name Deli Creeps. The Deli Creeps played live at Madame Wong"s West in 1988. Maximum Bob first attracted wide public attention when performing backup vocals for the band Mr. Bungle. Michael Andrew Hakopian, better known as Pinchface is the drummer of the Deli Creeps, Giant Robot II, and the Cornbugs. He has also appeared on numerous Buckethead albums, such as ''Population Override'' and '' Giant Robot'' (tracks "I Come In Peace" and "Star Wars").
