Young All-Stars
The Young All-Stars are a team of fictional DC Comics superheroes. They were created by Roy Thomas, Dann Thomas, and Michael Bair, and introduced in ''Young All-Stars'' #1, dated June 1987. The team members Tsunami, Neptune Perkins, and Dan the Dyna-Mite were all introduced in previously published DC Comics stories. The team members Iron Munro, Flying Fox, and Fury were created for the series and intended to be analogs of the Golden Age versions of Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman respectively. ''Young All-Stars'' lasted for 31 issues, as well as one annual. Publication history ''Young All-Stars'' was a follow-up to DC's popular 1980s series ''All-Star Squadron'', created and written by Roy Thomas. Michael Bair
Michael A. Hernandez is an American comics artist also known by the pen name Michael Bair, who is best known for his work as an inker. His work includes Marvel Comics' ''Alpha Flight'', and DC Comics' ''Hawkman''. He is best known for inking Rags Morales' pencils since 2002, most notably on the miniseries ''Identity Crisis''. Biography Bair started his career in the early 1980s, pencilling a "Stormy Tempest" story in ''Star*Fems'' #2 for AC Comics/Paragon Publications in 1982. In 1983, he began working for the leading American comic book publishers, DC Comics and Marvel Comics. Bair's first work for "DC was the ' Huntress' backup in ''Wonder Woman'' and then '' JSA Vs America,''" all of which work, he recalls, "was pencilling." The Golden Age of Comic Books describes an era of American comic books from 1938 to 1956. During this time, modern comic books were first published and rapidly increased in popularity. The superhero archetype was created and many well-known characters were introduced, including Superman, Batman, Robin, Captain Marvel, Captain America, and Wonder Woman. Axis Amerika is the name of two different teams of supervillains who have appeared in American comic books published DC Comics. The original team, created by writer Roy Thomas and penciler Brian Murray, first appeared in ''Young All-Stars'' #1 (June 1987). Don Markstein's Toonopedia
Don Markstein's Toonopedia (subtitled A Vast Repository of Toonological Knowledge) is an online encyclopedia of print cartoons, comic strips and animation, initiated February 13, 2001. Donald D. Markstein, the sole writer and editor of Toonopedia, termed it "the world's first hypertext encyclopedia of toons" and stated, "The basic idea is to cover the entire spectrum of American cartoonery." Markstein began the project during 1999 with several earlier titles: he changed Don's Cartoon Encyberpedia (1999) to Don Markstein's Cartoonopedia (2000) after learning the word "Encyberpedia" had been trademarked. During 2001, he settled on his final title, noting, "Decided (after thinking about it for several weeks) to change the name of the site to Don Markstein's Toonopedia, rather than Cartoonopedia. Green Arrow is a superhero who appears in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Mort Weisinger and designed by George Papp, he first appeared in ''More Fun Comics'' #73 in November 1941.
