Contemporary R&B (or simply R&B) is a popular music genre that combines rhythm and blues with elements of pop, soul, funk, hip hop, and electronic music. MCA Records was an American record label owned by MCA Inc., which later became part of Universal Music Group. Pre-history MCA Inc., a powerful talent agency and a television production company, entered the recorded music business in 1962 with the purchase of the New York-based US Decca Records (established in 1934), including Coral Records and Brunswick Records. __NOTOC__ Manchild was an American 1970s funk band from Indianapolis, Indiana. They are best known for having a teenaged Kenny Babyface Edmonds in the group before he moved over to Dick Griffey's SOLAR Records to be in the band the Deele along with Antonio "L.A." Reid. Tony Haynes is an American lyricist, songwriter, poet, music publisher, producer and author.
